Gail “Mom Jeans” Ernst seems to have some issues.

“I’m appalled by my husband’s remarks,” Joni Ernst said, according to the Register. “They are uncalled for and clearly inappropriate. I’ve addressed this issue with my husband and that’s between us.”

It’s so between us that I’ve criticized him in public, and also told you that I gave him s–t in private.

I grew up in Iowa. (And quickly left.) The state has many thoughtful politicians, nearly all of whom are Democrats. When I read this article, I was not upset because this kind of talk is what passes for a policy discussion in Republican circles. In fact, it may well be over the heads of the majority of Iowa Republican voters.

She’s appalled that Gale called Napolitano a ‘skank’ in front of the voters.

In front of her base, not so much.

I love it when people make it me laugh!

“I’m appalled that the Democrats found my husband’s public remarks. I and our many Facebook friends found them witty, but chacun a son gout, as we say in Iowa.”

Kinky turn on, but it probably works.

Our Sarah has probably friended the remarks on the Ernsts’ Facebook page.
