2010:

So if you’re trying to make a case that I’ve lived off the public tit all these years, I think you’re saying correctly in the years I’ve been in the Congress but not the years before I came to Congress.

He’s not going to even try to wean himself.

Atta boy.

America has had enough of these old farts and their 18th century thinking. It’s time to put an age limit of 65 for anyone in public office to be able to serve.

TERM LIMITS. Let someone else have a chance.

Let’s not get too carried with the patriotism and public service nonsense. The hookers in Iowa can’t/won’t do what the hookers in Washington will although the price is significantly higher.

And take that knucklehead to your right with the psychedelic tie and Klan pin with you.

Wean is for wankers. See, he’s got work to do now. He voted to repeal Obamacare 38 times and this time, the sprightly octogenarian is gonna really do it. No more half measures, and 39 is a charm I’m tellin’ ya!

It’s nice to hear that all that Senate work doesn’t interfere with his nap time.

We need term/age limits, NOW! Strom Thurmond barely knew what decade it was during his last 2 terms in the Senate. This fool doesn’t even know what millennium it is.
GrASSley believes in a 6000yo earth. Could SOMEONE please tell me exactly where in the Bible that God declares WHEN he created the Universe and the Earth? All the Bible says is HOW LONG God took to do it. Not WHEN he did it. YEC is heresy.

I’m not opposed to Grassley because he’s old. I’m opposed to Grassley because he’s a low grade moron.

80 is the new fetus.

Grassley has always been more of a grandstander than anything else. Like most Congresscritters, esp. those who like having a media profile, he’s always been dependent on his staffers. His posture of muckraking on public health issues in the '00s was mostly the product of one staffer and Grassley’s “interest” in these issues ended when the staffer left Congress…

Only the good die young.

Assume sound judgment dead.

Grassley was coy on whether he planned to run or use a walker. “Depends – and creamed corn.” he replied, apparently misunderstanding the question.

Oh for crying out loud!!

If we can’t have term limits, we should at least have age limits!!

No one from any party should be a lifer in our government!! But, that is all we have, do nothing lifers!!

Another indication that election reform including term limits are long overdue. Many people are losing their drivers license at this age for Gods sake…why they would be trusted to make crucial decisions regarding constituents best interests is questionable. Except we all realize these fossils are in the pocket of the plutocrats that keep sending them back to do their bidding.
