Varney reported the issue to a hotel desk clerk, who was “puzzled” and “recognized [Drudge] was not some place the lunatic, dangerous fringe lurks.”
The only inaccurate part of this statement would be describing them as the fringe.
Yeah, the real question is what does Drudge do to your computer when you’re not protected by a malware filter?

I wonder if those filters look at the comments posted on such sites? And/or volume/number os such comments.
I’ve seen plenty of offensive comments on “liberal” sites but nowhere near the volume on the ‘conservative’* sites I visit.
I wonder if the differences between liberals and conservatives is related to biological levels of bile production in people’s livers? <Joke, folks>

Well, from what I have heard of the nature of the comments at some of those sites, I can readily see how they might trigger a “hateful content” filter.
