Good news for Republicans!
Not an easy race to predict given that the GOP failed to even run a candidate against Pryor back in 2008.
Bagger response when Republicans don’t retake the Senate: "But Faux Not really News PROMISED!
In what is supposed to be a big GOP year, how can it be that 3 Dem incumbents in the “solid South” are leading in their Senate races? How long will it be before any major media outlet challenges the cw?
While I like the answer - am I the only person who finds internal polls to be about the most suspect things there are in polling?
November 5th.
In what is supposed to be a big GOP year, how can it be that Dems will most certainly have net gains in the Governors’ races?
I view internal polls with suspicion too,but I think Pryor has been leading other polls too.
Which is why I’m perplexed as to why Pryor is releasing internals. Usually, it’s done in a (almost always misguided) attempt to convince the press you aren’t losing in the face of a lot of bad public polls. I don’t understand what they’re trying to accomplish by releasing an internal that’s consistent with the publics unless maybe it’s a cunning scheme to bolster the credibility of their internals should there ever come a time they need to release another to counter a bad narrative.
I haven’t looked at the polls myself but according to Brad Dayspring Pryor was losing in the last nine public polls.
Pryor was leading most of the year, then a spat of polls in June and July showed Cotton leading. I think this is to push back on those.
Leading in an internal poll is like getting an endorsement from your mother.
A Libertarian and a Green are also in this race?
We’re bringing all the stalking horses out to play in Arkansas!
Yay! With so much negative news about the coming election, this is nice to hear. It would help if the other two candidates dropped out.
Just looked at Pollster. You’re right, but it’s really been a flood of Republican partisan polls and one Yougov Internet poll to which the NYT and CBS have chosen to lend their for reasons that elude me. No reputable pollster with a reasonable methodology has polled there in months for some reason, and it looks an awful lot like the VRWC saw that as an opportunity to flood the zone with disinformation (Rove’s polling unit’s involvement being the tell). So I can see why he’d be motivated to release an internal.
Not all that good because:
- Internal poll
- 3 weeks old
- A new Talk Business poll shows Prior down 2 points
In prior polls Pryor was ahead before he was behind but in the previous poll Pryor was previously trailing.
Currently, Pryor is in the lead, so you figure it out.
Pryor had a prior lead pipe pried from the kitchen sink. Priorly, Pryor leaks? Call the plumbing pryer by ear, stall the bumbling Pryor by nearly balling, crawling, falls the prize, the pries and cries of green the scene unseen, a crumbling buyer LEE WALLINGSWORTH.
