A Friday news-dump so big it basically broke TPM comment sections.

Sad!

Trump Campaign Staffers Pushed Russian Propaganda Days Before the Election

President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. followed the account until its closure on Aug. 23 of this year. Trump Jr. retweeted the account three times, including an allegation of voter fraud in Florida one week before the election.

“BREAKING:
#VoterFraud by counting tens of thousands of ineligible mail in Hillary
votes being reported in Broward County, Florida Please, RT,” the tweet
read.

That last line was a bit gratuitous. We already knew Trump was a low-information voter.

Trump lies.

He has deep ties to Russians. Of course he knew their propaganda plans.

Trump, too, made numerous false claims about Democratic voter fraud in the runup to the 2016 election.

Huh. Well, that’s kind of a funny coincidence.

So when does the investigation into Kris Koback begin?

Because there’s no way on God’s Green Earth that the king of ‘voter fraud’ had zero contact with the indicted.

Check out the 3r paragraph and the second link. The article says the propaganda about Broward County came out “a week” before the election. Roger Stone spread his bullshit about Broward County thirteen days before the election. Coincidence???

Presidential election: Voter fraud claims fly in Florida, where George W Bush won by 537 votes in 2000

On Wednesday, the Florida Republican party’s top official, Blaise
Ingoglia, sent a letter to the head of Broward’s elections supervisor,
Brenda Snipes, alleging that she and her staff had been illegally
opening and sorting “tens of thousands” of absentee ballots without
proper oversight by an independent canvassing board.

…The allegation instantly resonated with some Republicans who have been
fed a diet of claims by their nominee, Donald Trump, that the Democrats
will somehow seek to cheat their way to victory next Tuesday and that
unspecified rigging of the vote is going on.

…Also still lurking was a seemingly unfounded claim made by Roger Stone, a
one-time political advisor to former President Richard Nixon and today
one of the loudest pro-Trump voices in the land, that Ms Clinton last
month held a secret meeting with Ms Snipes during a campaign stop in
South Florida, implying they were colluding to fix the outcome in her
county.

Roger Stone fails to provide photos of alleged Clinton meeting with Snipes

One of the nation’s most notorious political dirty tricksters
insinuated Broward’s elections chief could be on Hillary Clinton’s side,
but has not provided promised proof.

Roger Stone, a Donald Trump
supporter pushing the idea that the elections are rigged, claimed
Wednesday that Clinton met privately with Broward’s elections chief, Dr.
Brenda Snipes. Both sides deny it.

Stone promised that photos of
the meeting would be available “shortly” on the website infowars.com.
But two days later, there were no photos on the website.

Trump wants to know how to pardon Russians.

Poof!

(That is the sound that an elephant makes when suddenly becoming visible to everyone in the room).

Trump will no doubt claim that this proves he didn’t collude with anyone.

He already has. This is literally whistling past the graveyard. BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Kris Kobach: willing colluder or useful idiot? Inquiring minds want to know.

The Kremlin operation that interfered in the 2016 campaign stoked fears of voter fraud in advance of election day, purchasing ads on Facebook and using the #VoterFraud hashtag on Twitter, according to an indictment of 13 Russian nationals filed by Robert Mueller’s probe on Friday.

So happy to see Kris Koback of Kansas (KKK) being exposed as a Russian agent.

Imagine Jeb Bush’s chagrin. As governor he was the one to originally appoint Ms. Snipes elections supervisor after election mishaps did in her predecessor.

Too late…he already has.

Trump campaign; “You’re doing what?”

Stone: “Dude, the Russians are totally ready to go full psy-ops to help you, so I’m working with them.”

Trump campaign: “That’s awesome! But we’re going to have to distance ourselves from you while you do it, k? So you’re hereby “fired” hahaha!”

This brings back memories of fights with liberals on Facebook claiming that they couldn’t vote for Hillary because of all the bad things she did…it looks like a lot of their reasons were pushed by Russia. The minority vote part is not something the Russians would have done on their own. Someone with experience in US politics had to have pointed out to them how to target certain groups with specific propaganda for it to have the largest effect.

And, I love how the Republicans are crowing “no collusion!”, when we have no idea what Mueller is going to pull out of his hat next. This is not even close to the end of indictments…the nature of this one, and the details inside it, means they have more connections to follow and far more information than anyone thought. All it takes is one stray email chain that has a forwarded email from someone in the Trump campaign to light this whole thing up, and we already know from the Trump Jr. meeting emails that they are not at all aware of how to use email intelligently.

I vote for both.

He may be the first Russian agent to get elected governor of Kansas, my home state.
