Another fun read, considering the “source”

Commentary: If Trump seems hysterical now, just wait.

It is against the law for the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee to funnel millions of dollars to a British spy and to Russian sources in order to obtain the infamous and discredited Trump “dossier.” The Federal Election Campaign Act (52 USC 30101) prohibits foreign nationals and governments from giving or receiving money in U.S. campaigns. It also prohibits the filing of false or misleading campaign reports to hide the true purpose of the money (52 USC 30121).

Every single thing that they are accusing the Clinton campaign of doing, they have done themselves. Count on it.

Every.

Single.

Thing.

I love the smell of blind desperate panic in the morning.

Does Vegas have odds on which one Putin kills first? Or on how long each has left to live?

The Whitehouse would like nothing better than to cancel all press briefings.

Yeah, and his argument is legally untenable to boot. He’s pushing a superficial misinterpretation of the laws that doesn’t really hold up and isn’t what they really mean. It’s something you see Fisher Price attorneys doing all the time when their case isn’t really about winning, but rather delaying something or using litigation as a shakedown for forcing a settlement, etc.

It’s not illegal to hire a private company owned by a foreign person to do your opposition research. If it was, then we have to start treating every single GOPer appearance on Faux News as a violation because it was receipt of an in-kind contribution. Nobody paid foreign officials or filed false reports either. It’s all just vagaries based on deliberately mischaracterizing the facts and law.

Why would he want to kill any of these people? He doesn’t care if they talk and he probably doesn’t truly care if everybody knows he got PP elected. If his goal is to create chaos, to undermine Western democracies, what better way to do it then to just let all this play out?

The next time Adolf Hippo claims his fingers aren’t stubby, show him the pic at the top of this article.

Actually, this works better for Putin. He “gets even” with Hillary and causes a constitutional crisis in the U. S. People are a bit naïve to think Putin actually likes Donnie Dotard.

ETA: The most naïve being the Dotard entourage.

What better way? Frustrate everything by killing the perps and witnesses, leaving both “sides” with zero answers that decide anything one way or the other and zero resolution to any of the controversies, such that they can both go on thinking they’re 100% right, that the other is 100% wrong, and the hate and division feedback loop can continue to build unchecked…

Face it, Putin won WWIII without firing a shot. Just a whole lot of support from your friendly neighborhood GOP.

(Emily Litella’s voice): “What’s all this about monkey laundering? There’s nothing wrong with keeping your monkey clean, and if someone wants to take the little critter to the laundromat to make sure it’s extra clean then there’s no crime th…what? It’s what? Oh, nevermind.”

I’d like to, but to me the trend of most “western” democracies seems to be a slippery downhill slope of nationalistic asshats making yuge gains, by spouting hateful rhetoric. Putin’s got to have a woody the size of a sequoia from all the destabilization he’s accomplishing.

So this was indictment “B”, as someone said before? I wonder if Muller’s first meeting with Manafort and his attorney will involve Mueller sliding indictment “A” over to them and asking if they’d rather Mueller file it today and Manafort be charged with the criminal stuff he did to help the campaign collude with Russia OR whether Manafort would like to cop to it and turn state’s witness for some leniency. “Up to you, Paul. Decide today. Oh, and by the way, Ricky has the same offer and only one of you gets to take it. Tick tock, bitch!”

A man can dream, can’t he? haha
