Hi Maximus: I sense that you are very frustrated, but some of us in Indiana are trying to promote our shared values of gender equality and social justice. Insulting the whole state, while perhaps momentarily satisfying to you, does not help attract new supporters for these values in swing states. Thanks for reading.

Going all the way back to the 1980s, the Republicans’ inability to engage in humor even slightly above the 7th grade “fart joke” level was apparent even then. Today, it’s deteriorated from that level, falling even below the scurrillity of Limbaugh’s Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank " jokes". Their current attempts at humor are barely above the illiterate level. My uncle posted this to Facebook and an aunt (other than his wife) liked it. What is amazing about that is that she herself is obese, actually lost a daughter who literally died from her obesity, and has at least one extremely obese grandchild… all extreme conservatives. I keep coming back to there just being no way to break through the mindset these people are in - they can’t even see themselves.
