Discussion: Incoming House Committee Chair Blames Shutdown On Trump Going 'Off His Meds'

Welcome to the new world, Trump. Democrats mouthing off at your expense – and on Fox no less. No one on earth more richly deserves it.

Cheeseburgers and KFC aren’t medicinal?

Darn, next you’ll be saying a quart of whisky a day is bad for a person.

I see that as pretty much his usual condition. His greed manifests itself as an eating disorder.

Now in reality this isn’t totally on dotard going off his meds. He was ready to sign the CR approved overwhelmingly by the Senate until the limpbaugh contingent rattled his chains but it was lyin ryan who added the $5 billion to the CR when it was passed over to the House that killed the bill and gave us the shut down. This shit show belongs to dotard and ryan jointly. Quite a sour note for lyin ryan to retire on.

That would have to be in an empty vessel. Appropriate, that.

He apparently snorts them

There is also the Propecia that he takes to supposedly to help grow his hair. That affects testosterone. “Users of finasteride, which prevents dihydrotestosterone production, report serious physical and emotional adverse effects… (Am J Mens Health. 2018 Jan; 12(1): 90–95).” It also cause swelling of breasts in men. That’s why the Preshitident Skanky-Manslut has saggy manboobs when he’s golfing.

47% of Americans blame Trump for this shutdown. That’s not bad, but it could be better, especially if the standoff continues for a long time, which it will. Dems need to set their messaging in concrete before they control the House and get blamed.

“Republicans always crash the government. Just like they always crash the economy. They’re unfit to govern. This chaos will continue as long as Republicans control Washington.”

Find ways to get in front of the camera and say it again and again and again. Leave no daylight between the Republican president and his party.

Going off his meds is something that’s been said here a lot. Now, a member of congress is saying it so the joke(?) is out in the open.
Meanwhile, he’s been hiding in the WH since the shutdown except the trip to Iraq to stroke his ego.

Pelosi’s sending out messages but people have to read them in order for them to count. Check her Twitter feed for openers.

If he were just a regular person with these problems we’d probably all have loads of sympathy for him. However, he is supposed to be the POTUS. Take his mental instability and his vile sense of trying to screw people over, lying and trying desperately to bring this country down and there is no sympathy. It’s too late for meds for him and how his family or anyone has put up with him for more than a week is beyond my comprehension.

I think the Congress should require that the Surgeon General certify to the Congress on a quarterly basis that: 1) the POTUS is properly evaluated on a annual basis for his mental health status, 2) prescribed appropriate medications for the resulting diagnosis and prognosis, and 3) that he is properly taking his prescribed medications. Given Trump’s behavior and sleep habits, I would think Prozac and or Xanax would do him (and us) a lot of good.

Pelosi and Schumer should negotiate with Limbaugh and Coulter. Leave messenger boy out.

No no no, it is not Trump “going off his meds”. Stupid stupid stupid. He has not changed. He wasn’t on “meds”. This is who he always was. It is much worse than “going off his meds” would suggest. He has a personality disorder, not a psychiatric disorder. The former is not fixable, but, given his crimes, there is a solution: lock him up. The latter is sort-of fixable, and people make an effort. It is not right to lump together Trump with those who suffer psychiatric conditions. Meds aren’t the solution; prison is the solution. Then you have to handle all the bastard Republicans who enable him.

Maybe Trump should lay off snorting the chopped up adderall and go back on the lithium.
