“We never had no leader! It was all done by committee.”

…and cowards. Without their guns, they are whimpering puppies.

He wasn’t a leader–only a teacher, who happened to want some snacks. And guns. Lots of guns.

Has anyone told him that he can’t own guns any more? If not I volunteer to give him the news.

“I had red dots all over me,” he said.

They have vaccines for that.

Also, it’s such a shame these yahoos won’t be in swing state Nevada to vote.

This is true, and it seems to be working for the faithful. They think that his three days on the stand getting out the message about his mission from God and the evils of the federal government have been glorious. There’s lots of congratulatory messages being sent back and forth on their FB pages and such, along with lots of praying and praising and such. To the sane world they sound like a bunch of whiney loons. For the faithful it’s a bonus that A. Bundy’s lawyer has shown great disrespect for the judge, everything from being late to ignoring instructions to playing dumb about legal procedure. And he has a stutter that he evidently plays for all its worth.

My favorite part has been that his followers have a new (at least to me) designation: poots. This is reworking of their chosen identification as “patriots.” It has the added advantage of making them mad. For day to day observation on how it’s going, try this twitter feed https://twitter.com/hashtag/oregonstandoff?f=tweets&vertical=default&src=hash, and for longer discussion and legal input from interested legal types, go to Fogbow http://thefogbow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=8572&sid=c3295cfebce628415e27b9e072f666fe&start=13800

“Those principles, spoken of in great detail during three days of testimony this week, include Bundy’s belief that the federal government can’t own land within a state’s borders, except for limited purposes.”

Well Ammon, I believed in fairies until I was almost 12. Alas my belief could not make them real.

Another “strategy” by A. Bundy: for jury selection (several days) he wore slacks and a shirt to court. On Day 1, he wore the same. But on Day 2 he had to take a principled stand and instead wore his jail scrubs to court. This is a pink undershirt and sky blue scrubs - colors which go very nicely with his complexion BTW. Every day since he’s worn those same scrubs (everybody else has real clothes) to express his view that he’s a political prisoner. The judge instructed the jury that they weren’t to infer anything from anyone’s choice of dress. To round out the picture, when asked where his residence is, he pulled the sad face and pointed across the street and identified the Multnomah County Jail as his home for the last 8-1/2 months. Heartstrings broke all over Poot Corner (the park across the street where the faithful gather with their “protest” signs). Elsewhere, eyes rolled.

Every convict ever denied their guilt. It becomes second nature to them.

I’ve hired many a worker from the local half way house and denial is just built into them.
No matter how small a mistake, how meaningless or how much evidence that they broke something, screwed up or whatever, they deny, deny, deny.

Look at Bundy Boy here. He intentionally filmed his illegal seizure of the refuge, plastered it all over the internet and now thinks that denial is a defense.
He has no real defense so as foolish and embarrassing as it is, he’s going the smoke and mirrors method, baffle’em with bullshit.

I’ve yet to see this method work. #1, it’s very obvious when someone is lying because they don’t deal with the facts, they deflect with pure bullshit and created scenarios.

If he wasn’t the leader then who, the dead guy? That won’t fly either.

Out of the hundreds of convicted felons I represented on appeal exactly 2 admitted to me they had done the crime and if they had it to do over again they’d do it again.

They were my all time favorite clients.

Lock, say goodbye to key.

Put this guy away, for a long, long time. And keep him isolated, so he doesn’t lead a prison break.

And stop showing that photo that makes him look like a thoughtful guy making a worthwhile point.

My lawyer says that I am honest to a fault, to my own detriment.

He schools me hard before testimony day that I need to answer briefly and just the question asked.
He and I are something like 12-1-1. Twelve wins, 1 tie and 1 loss. I think 4 have actually gone to trial, the rest were basically non-payers that he set straight quickly.
The one loss, I said something extra in regards to construction and he believes that is what cost us.

hahahahaha probably.

One of the hardest things in the world is to get people to keep their mouths shut about things that don’t need to be discussed. hahahahahahaha
