Comey Says Trump is ‘Untethered to Truth’

Tell us something we don’t already know. Come on, Comey. You can do better than that. If you call him the biggest bullshitter you ever met, I just might buy your book. Quit being such a boy scout.

Btw, we also know he’s a clown, a con man, a grifter, and attached like glue to the mob, Italian or Russian, take your pick. Personally, its gonna take some really special insight for me to get worked up about Comey’s book and buy it. Maybe something a little gossipy would help.

Well, Jim, we sort of figured that once we noticed he tells ten million lies a day. You don’t have to be the head of the damn FBI to notice that much.

ETA: As you might hope, there’s better stuff in the book.

Yawn. We don’t need to buy a book to know that.

What’s the name of the book? May I suggest “Obvious Stuff Any Sentient American Should’ve Seen Coming”?

Comey also says that Trump asked him to investigate the pee tape to put Melania as ease.

The news that Mueller will reveal at least 4 general findings on the obstruction probe is interesting. The one that stood out to me is the dangling of pardons in exchange for favorable testimony. We don’t know that much about it except the recent piece on Dowd’s resignation. It would appear that Mueller got Dowd as a cooperating witness.

The question is will Rosenstein and Mueller push for an indictment of Trump, have the grand jury name him an un-indicted co-conspirator, or do an impeachment referral? I think Trump’s working of the refs is intended, in part, to avoid indictment as some legal scholars think it’s a grey area of whether a POTUS can be indicted for obstruction.

He liked getting chained up and leathered,
With the Stormy he thought he had weathered.
But when Truth came around,
And asked to be bound,
He said, “Baby, I’m much too untethered.”

I guess he thought Comey’s reassurance on the matter would help since Comey’s credibility is bolstered by being literally anyone else than Donald Trump.

“Comey describes Trump as shorter than he expected with a ‘too long’ tie and ‘bright white half-moons’ under his eyes that he suggests came from tanning goggles…”

“…and often smelled of urine.”

So are we saying that Comey’s account counts as an episstolary work?

Comey also ruminates on the psychology of liars in an apparent nod to the current occupant of the Oval Office.

“They lose the ability to distinguish between what’s true and what’s not,” Comey writes. “They surround themselves with other liars . . . Perks and access are given to those willing to lie and tolerate lies. This creates a culture, which becomes an entire way of life.” WAPO

You know, the fact he denies it does not matter. He is denying STORMY DANIELS and he did the wild thing and said, she’s not even my type. I mean he could deny he ever slept with her then why did his buddy pay $130K? But, she’s not my type! So we know he lies to himself, he lies to her, and then he forgets that he lied and tells the truth somewhere along the line.

What is the MATTER with him? (I know, an existential question none of us are qualified to answer.)

Having read an excerpt from Comey’s book, I suspect that even people who believe he is guilty of misconduct will still read the damn book.

I have been watching the news all day on and off but did not hear this. What I ‘heard’ was that if the President does not want to talk to the SC, fine, they’ll release the report without HIS input and let his actions speak for themselves and I cannot figure out what Mueller is not just subpoenaing his ungainly rump.
