…and isn’t that funny (peculiar, not ha-ha) that Trump would pick ‘loyalty’ over ‘honestly’…
Especially since this dinner took place at the WH on January 27th, also known as the evening of Sally Yates’s second visit in two days to warn the WH about Flynn.
In a cult, loyalty is honesty.
But they still cite Clinton and Lynch on the Tarmac as the holy grail of collusion…oh yes.
Donald and his band of liars. Asking the FBI director to be loyal to him? Why donnie? What did you do?
And if he thinks his pissant Sessions can control them, he’s sorely mistaken. The train has left the station - the choice is to lay down on the tracks or get out of its way.
I don’t see that happening. Someone, somewhere, said recently that it’s like watching a toilet flush in slow motion.
Justice? Depends on how you pronounce the word. Jefferson Beauregard Sessions pronounces it as “just us.”
Well, maybe if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue. Seems that’s the standard he’s going for, perhaps a gnawing desire to test the theory, if you will.
It doesn’t smell like. Its the extreme example in the dictionary.
trumpp simply doesn’t understand how anything in government works, or in the private sector for that matter, and it seems FBI personnel were loyal to and respected Comey. They’re going to persist. It was leaks to newspapers that helped bring Nixon down. No reason an orange hustler won’t be brought down in the same way.
@austin_dave Career prosecutors are not going to fall on their swords for the likes of DJT. It was a long, hard road to get where they are, and to throw it all away out of a sense of loyalty to the pretender in the WH? Never happen. They might even remember that government lawyers were also indicted and imprisoned during Watergate.
Well, it smells like it in the way when your dog takes a dump in the middle of the living room it smells like… you get the idea.
Just a reminder, Trump has still not replaced a single US Attorney. There is not a single one in the country right now, and hasn’t been since March.
You know who else demanded loyalty?
Civil servant oath
Service oath for public servants
“I swear: I will be faithful and obedient to the leader of the German Empire and people, Adolf Hitler, to observe the law, and to conscientiously fulfill my official duties, so help me God.”
“The integrity of our law enforcement agencies and their leadership is of the utmost importance to President Trump,” Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the newspaper. “He would never even suggest the expectation of personal loyalty, only loyalty to our country and its great people.”
If body language that screams “LIE” has anything to do with his nose, he lies as often as he breathes.
Why are you posting here? I need those TPS reports STAT!
Including the Big Kahuna, John Mitchell.
On February 21, 1975, Mitchell, who was represented by the criminal defense attorney William G. Hundley, was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury and sentenced to two and a half to eight years in prison for his role in the Watergate break-in and cover-up
Mitchell is the only US Attorney General to have done time in prison (so far).
Are you saying that absent US Attorneys there can be no effective investigations, prosecutions, etc., and there is something sinister underfoot in the failure of the DOJ under Sessions to appoint them?
Guy who listens in on others phone calls accuses Comey of taping? Or did Trump tape? Very paranoid.
