It would appear that the walls have closed in so far on Donny that he is now in a closet. He has totally lost it. The end is near.

He’s taking his own advise and is completely off the rails. May have to do with Mueller crossing his red line.

What’s interesting is the strong, nondiplomatic, blistering tweets sent out by Brennan, McCabe, and even Comey. The IC is now publically engaging Trump -not just behind the scenes- and the war is on. I really think the endgame is here for Trump.

From what I read from Brennan’s tweet, the evidence is so bad and overwhelming, Republicans will have no option but to impeach and convict.

This is what two days up at night with no sleep, ruminating on how they done me wrong looks like, I suspect. No amount of concealer or any other kind of makeup is getting rid of those bags.

I wish I could feel more confident that this were true. With Republicans in charge of everything (at least currently), and crazy people having been appointed to head most agencies, I just don’t see this ending as it should. The founding fathers were clever enough to realize that power should be distributed, but I don’t think that they anticipated 30 years of overt attempts to undermine the legitimacy of the government. (They also did not want political parties, which was obviously a valid concern but hardly lasted even a decade.)

I don’t think this was set off by crossing the red line since that happened weeks ago. No I think Seth Abramson is right and that what is driving Trump over the edge is having seen the questions Mueller will ask him. He realizes he is absolutely trapped and is responding accordingly.

The only card he can play is the one he’s desperately playing, trying to impugn the credibility of some of the most upright people our society has. He’s trying to show that every last person in a huge cast of hostile witnesses is a liar and conspirator. I would not be calmly confident of victory either.
