Senator Boxer was right far more often than she was wrong. And on the Iraq War she was spectacularly right. It’s a pity that we don’t have more like her. There are a few, but just a few.

I hope the author’s headline was the one on the discussion page and URL, “In An Era When ‘Liberal’ Was An Insult, Barbara Boxer Stuck To Her Guns”, and the one on top of the article was put in by a clueless editor, because “Face It, We Don’t Have Another Fighter Like Barbara Boxer” is rather silly, and indeed is not the message of the piece.

Yup! And my Senator since 1993 . . .

In so far as Boxer being labeled by Reason as (D Nanny State) only underscores that she has firmly stood her ground in the long line of true LIBERAL representation.

As of now, I’m siding with Kamala Harris over Villaraigosa the Worm, and self-funding billionaire Tom Steyer who also has eyes on running for governor when Brown leaves office in 2018.
