Discussion: IGs Request Fresh Inquiry Into Hillary Clinton's Private Email Account

Discussion for article #238720

An anonymous U.S. official also told The Associated Press
that “it was unclear whether classified information was mishandled and
the referral doesn’t suggest wrongdoing by Clinton herself.”

But all anyone will hear of is:

DOJ Asked To Open Criminal Inquiry Into Hillary Clinton’s Private Emails

Begin the feeding frenzy. I just want to know how this ties in to Benghazi!

wasn’t clear whether the information in those emails was marked as classified when Clinton sent or received them.

Do these IGs have names and/or spotless associations?
CBS was their usual breathy this morning in what’s getting to be weekly fake ‘surprises’.
Between this and the fake PP scandal the GOP had planned this to be a big week…Thanks, Donald!

Giggling and breathiness are requirements for MSM morning shows.

NYT has a huge blind spot when it comes to Clinton. Seriously, she and Bill must have snubbed someone really important somehow while Bill Clinton was president because their coverage of her is not remotely sensible.

I can see this emblazoned under the old Scripps light house…

How about we open criminal probes into Justice Scalia, Justice Thomas and Justice Alito’s financial dealings while we’re at it.

Maybe an enterprising reporter should look into why the NYT keeps printing false headlines about Hillary? Were they bribed? Are they supporting Jeb? What gives?

They didn’t use to claim to be that they were the outfit who gave us All the Slurs Unfit to Print.

The NYT is not what it used to be by a long shot and I agree with you they have it in for HRC. That hit piece they did on her a few months ago in which they basically quoted a book based on allegations and falsehoods and which the GOPers took and ran with it. .

Correct and exactly what was intended. Seems everyone also forgets that at the time the practice was a common occurrence and was something nearly every prior SS was also doing. If I also remember correctly was a practice that was encouraged by a prior Administration, Bushie comes to mind, because it was an attempt to circumnavigate discloser and open records laws.

No other comment.

The New York Times continues it’s downward descent, offering up misleading, clickbait headlines in order to drive declining revenue.

Al Gore isn’t interested.
Period. Full Stop.

That piece is a pure fantasy.

Every email under discussion that was classified was marked as such AFTER THE FACT.

No classified emails were sent by Hillary Clinton.

Trying to cabbage some of that sweet sweet Breitbart traffic.

Keep in mind, that the email story first broke right after JEB released SOME of his emails…7 years after he was required by state law to release ALL of his emails.

The whole thing has stunk of Bush oppo team at play since day 1. JEB was given a pass, if not out right praised for being so forth coming (the exact opposite of what he was doing), and to date, their are still huge noticable holes in his correspondence…days and events when he definitely would have been having email correspondence and there is nothing.

He only released his emails to get the stink off of him BEFORE the Clinton story broke…almost as if he knew it was going to break or something…

It’s funny that all this billionaire money er, speech can buy is the same old shit from the same old peddlers, thieves and liars.
Dem candidates should wear their 2 years and counting of ‘chamber of commerce’ cable and local TV attack ads like a laurel crown.

The NYT thinks people are still deeply interested in what Maureen Dowd has to say about anything. Dowd embodies the NYT’s Clinton-fixated id.

I see no proposal on how to bring the draft Gore movement to life though I would agree with some points he hits on. More importantly, we don’t know if Gore would actually want to run. I say not.
