Carr said Christian is known to police because of calls he’s made citing theft and criminal mischief, none of which have resulted in viable leads.
Too bad these paranoid freaks are impervious to the empirically proven fact that they’re safer without a gun in the house.

President Obama is not the first President to address the U. N. General assembly.
This was not an accident. The coward shot the scary thing in his kitchen on purpose. He aimed (badly) the gun and pulled the trigger, on purpose. He made a conscious decision to shoot the scary thing, whatever it was. That he didn’t know what the scary thing was is irrelevant.

I’ve been assaulted by my partner, in my own home.
She had a knife. I had nothing. I prevailed, because I studied judo for 4 years. A gun would have ended that event on a very tragic note.

Wow. I have so many responses to this, so I’ll just list them all.
- Is the gun OK? No one ever thinks of the guns.
- It’s no big deal; who among us has never shot our spouse in the face?
- I find it amusing that the perp’s name is “Christian.” I’m sure Jesus would have shot his wife in the face, too.
- Where was the good wife with the gun?

Where I come from, getting shot in the face by your spouse is considered to be domestic violence. Still, I guess the cops have to wait until all the facts are in. No point in jumping to conclusions, such as assuming that he shot his wife in the face.

That puts the R in Responsible: Once he noticed it was his wife, he did the responsible thing and quit firing, it would have been irresponsible to continue firing, no?

This does skirt the edges of responsible gun handling, those shots did go somewhere, hopefully he didn’t mess up the cabinetry, but shooting an intruder in the face seems like the responsible thing to do, unless of course the intruder turns out to be your wife, oops.
We’ll have to score this guy a C on the Responsible gun owner scale. He’s average, typical might be a better word.

Have you ever wondered how many gun nuts have recognized they never have to pay a price for “accidentally” killing someone, then blew away a spouse and yelled “OOPS! Ok, well, I gotta go to bed. See yourselves out, officers.”

First president to preside over a Security Council meeting, I think. Ordinarily that’s done by the UN Ambassador or, when its a really BFD, the Secretary of State. I’m surprised Fox hasn’t found a way to work it into a “demeaning the office” story.
