I should add that it’s all of Trumps racist nonsense that really resonates with Orban. “Fighting terrorism” is a code word for persecuting anyone who looks Middle Eastern or generally not white enough.

But Trump has said he will defend them as long as they keep up to date on their rent payments [i.e., reimbursing the US for Hungary’s share of the cost of keeping US troops in Europe.]. Wonder if Trump is going to publish a list of who’s up to date, who’s not . That way Putin won’t have to ask which countries it is OK to invade.
