For a long time their aggregator of education news (both k-12 and higher ed) was a great way to catch stories one would miss - as many were local stories. But I can’t get past the redesign to every try to navigate to check on whether or not it still pulls together relevant ed news items.
I agree…for a while it was nice to be able to find the major breaking news headlines mixed with entertainment news…and a more progressive view of politics…without requiring a subscription.

I deleted all my Huffpo bookmarks when they put all their video on autoplay. Haven’t visited that site in a long time. It’s good to know that some of their best talent will be moving sites that I do visit.
