Thank you for pointing this out. It’s the same thing I wanted to comment on. I recall Obama using general statements like “if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin” and talking about how sad he was, etc. He also uses those opportunities to talk about violence, mental health and gun control. But I don’t ever recall him adjudicating the specifics of the cases.

The former governor who released Maurice Clemmons from prison because he claimed to have found Jesus and then killed four police officers in a coffee shop has forfeited his right to comment on any other elected official’s comments on a pending criminal or civil case. Huckster has yet to really own up to his role in that affair.
