This man needs to lay off the twinkies. He’s a pretty smooth grifter. He also has serious issues with what is real and what is imaginary–maybe that is why his followers send him money. Like Israel so much? – Go live there and wrap your lips around Netanyahu’s genitals from a little closer as it much be tough stretching your neck from Arkansas or the FOX Entertainment headquarters in that awful city called New York where the women folk cuss in front of you. I’m sure the Israeli women are very demure, don’t cuss and will never fart in front of you.
Is it really that much of a prerequisite to totally hate President Obama, trash-talk he and his family, tell total untruths and make yourself look like an asshat to be a “leader” from within the Republican Party? There are so many of them nowadays. Like flies.

Exactly! President Obama has done more for Israel, militarily-speaking, than any past president. Obama has provided Israel with far more military financial assistance than any past president. Huckabee does not believe in his “god.” Anyone who preaches about a god like the one mainline American religions do would never much make such false statements. Bearing false witness is a big no-no – and these are some big-ass false witnesses.
Mr. Netanyahu may not be President Obama’s favorite person in the world but he has never treated the man with disrespect – and has always come to the table with help and assistance when asked.

Many on the right are trying to move Jewish voters away from the Democratic Party by claiming Pres. Obama hates Israel. That’s what all this is about.
They claimed Obama is not patriotic, hates America, hates White people, isn’t one of us, wasn’t even born here.
Now they are moving onto using Bibi to attack Pres. Obama.
If Bibi = Israel, then Pres. Obama = America.
If Obama does not like Netanyahu, that means he hates Israel. Likewise, shouldn’t Net’s dislike for Pres Obama means he hates America?
GOP leaders should be standing with America, backing the president. Instead, they are going out of their way to slobber over Bibi.

I am so sick and tired of this condescending psychobabble from the Right Wing crazies trying to divine the true soul of the President. It is so trivial, meaning and disgusting. All it does is to foster The Other myth - they just can’t accept a bi-racial American with an unconventional youth experience as a two-time winner of the Presidency. They have to look for some hidden pathology or Machavellian conspiracy to explain it.

Irony-challenged people like Huckabee don’t see that by their very own standards, their hatred for Obama shows that they also hate the United States. Of course, they would tell you that is different. And we all know why it is different.

It’s this insidious gossip along the lines of “I was just asking the question” that makes it impossible to refute. Disgusting is the best word to describe it.
I think you are right, but people are changing and developing more nuanced views. I think counting on American Jews–many of whom have their own reservations about the direction of Likud–to reflexively rally around the GOP on this may work out about as well as their reflexive opposition to normalizing relations with Havana has with Cuban Americans.

Someday, once Obama is proven to have been hatched on Jupiter and teleported here through a wormhole, everyone will understand the feeling he is “The Other”. Until then we’ll just have to watch Huckabee, Trump and their ilk periodically puke in public about it.
