Dean always described himself as a fiscal conservative…ALWAYS. Did you know that? Dean was always a moderate in most ways. He is a VT democrat, they are a different creature.
Oh how I wish people like you had any idea who Hillary Clinton is. Do you not know all candidates have corporate sponsors and lobbyists coming to them? All you have done here is repeat the same old garbage the lazy left always says. I am a liberal but I am not lazy. For instance I really know what she has done in her life and who she has stuck up for and what she has believed. For many years she WAS the progressive left of the party, attempting things the rest of the party was not ready for. Please don’t be a lemming. When someone says she is prepared they are talking about the vast amount of experience and various positions she has held, the jobs she has done…just the sheer times she has spent. She knows the whole worlds leadership and if they do not all love her they all respect her. NO ONE, not anyone can hold a candle to her in any of that or in policy knowledge. In 2008 she made the rest of the nominees look like they needed another year of tutoring just to take a class from her.
Now tell me about her vote for the Iraq war. Tell me about why she made that vote in her own words. If you don’t know that then you know nothing about her feelings about using American powers of war. …Will you people who fancy yourself as great progressives please get real and know something before you talk? This is serious, this is not a sports competition.
I do not mean to unload on you personally. I am a liberal. We probably share many beliefs. You may or may not be a very nice guy, who for all I know might be next to me organizing during the GE. But this opposition to Hillary Clinton by the left is based on such bull crap and ignorance and it is as tired as what the right says about her.
I guess we’ll just see, won’t we.
Someone is going to be very disappointed.
I’m pretty sure it won’t be me, since I do have an idea who Hillary Clinton is, having observed the Clintons since they first appeared on the national scene. I voted for her husband twice (holding my nose) and I fully expect to vote for her in 2016 (sadly, still holding my nose).
But one thing…if Ms. Clinton is such a leader, why hasn’t there been even a peep from her in the last several tumultuous weeks? No reaction to Ferguson, New York (where she ‘resides’ no less), budget battles, torture report. Seems like a ‘leader’ would weigh in on all these topics. Maybe she has, but I find it hard to believe the Beltway stenographer corps wouldn’t have told me about it.
But, I guess we’ll find out…
Oh, and spare me the lecture, newbie. It makes you appear to be a troll.
