Discussion: How Trump Could Help Clinton Win Black Voters At Obama Levels

Yeah, that’s what I’m getting at. I mean, Democrats haven’t always been good stewards of the black vote and have taken them for granted pretty often (hence BLM protesting their events as opposed to conservative ones, hence skepticism of Sanders and 50-year old receipts) but hostility to any political concerns of the black community is baked right into any agenda of conservatives, at every level, so that won’t change barring a full-blown reversal of that.

“What Josh Marshall and other folks who took informal polls of the subject discovered was that all the dog whistles aimed at blacks and Latinos were heard loud and clear by Asians too.”

Jews do this, too. Jews don’t fuck with racists on any level.

As early as May her support among (the) blacks was at 84% compared to his 9%. Her support among Latinos is almost as high, 65% vs. 28%. The fookin’ fool hasn’t got a chance. Sometime I think he’s trying to lose and this is all one long con which only gives him big adoring audiences to show him their love.

Trump’s objection to Judge Curiel perfectly explains why the GOP hates Obama – electing a black President was unfair to all the racist bigots in America.

Keli Goff was on On Point with Tom Ashbrook the other day (http://www.wbur.org/onpoint/2016/06/08/election-2016-california-primary) insisting that blacks will turn out for the GOP big time in the future. I couldn’t believe my ears. At 24:00 mins.

What we’ve heard is that trump does not draw college educated men or women, in contrast to Hillary who does, so it makes perfect sense that Asians would be drawn to Democrats. There is a huge Asian population here, and what I’ve learned is that kids value education because their parents emphasize it, and they excel at whatever field they go into, particularly medicine and dentistry. Lots of mover and shakers in the party here are Asians.

Well, you know how Those People are. Always cryin “racism” when the people they say are racist flat out say they’re not racist, as if that’s not conclusive on the question. Time to stop bein’ PC and just say it: it’s the peole who call people who say they’re not racist racist who are the only real racists! And that’s why they’ll all end up voting for Trump, because it’s Hillary who’s the real racist.

Also, too, argle bargle plantation.

I think the BLM protests at Democratic events is because BLM protesters know they at least have an opportunity to and an audience with Democrats. Although I don’t at all agree with how they’ve gone about it, I do understand why they’ve sought out Democrats. They can sway a Democrat, they can get Democrats to at least listen. Republicans won’t even do that much. In fact, they’ll denigrate BLM and get votes and a bump in the polls for doing so.

The sad part is that he continues to draw about even with Clinton among white voters with college degrees. That said, Romney won that cohort by 14%.

Conventional wisdom is black voters, Hispanic voters and women are all Hillary needs and CW is probably right, but I worry, as the Republican party cracks up what will replace it. and is the traditional Democratic party subject to the same anti-establishment pressures. I really think the Democratic party needs to defend its left flank. I am not talking about Hillary. She will do fine, but we need strong down ballot Democrats. The Green Party seems a little stronger this year than normal. That has to be a worry.

DEMOCRATS COULD NEVER DO TO REPUBLICANS WHAT DONALD TRUMP IS DOING TO THEM

Not only will Trump lose by the greatest margin in presidential election history, he will find himself in the disadvantageous position of being the most hated and toxic man in America. Joseph McCarthy will be less reviled than Donald Trump.

It’s hard to believe that Trump isn’t deliberately trying to destroy the GOP. The political careers of nearly every establishment Republican leader is over. And core Republicans have opened Pandora’s Box to all the evils that lurk within.

The establishment Republicans have nobody to blame but themselves. Mitch McConnell’s scorched earth policy the last 8 years doomed the Republican party. All racism all the time means the electorate is really pissed at Washington. Trump is the natural result.

Sadly the Democratic party establishment is also subject to the same perception as the Republicans. I think there are a lot of pressures on establishment Democrats that we don’t talk about very much.

Actually, I’d rather see HRC and the short-fingered vulgarian go a round of Jeopardy! than a regular debate.

Because he’s got the best words, right?

While this is a nice thought, it ain’t gonna happen. He would need to lose literally every state and the District in order to have the greatest margin in history, and he will win the reliable red states at least. And he won’t be the most hated man in America, because all of his current followers will stand by him and complain about how it was stolen from his, by the establishment RINOs and the leftist MSM.

He may manage to split the GOP, which would be a good thing IMO, but I am not certain it will really happen. Getting the wingnuts and such off on their own party and the more moderate conservatives away from them, and we might actually manage to get an operating Congress again.

Who’s getting the white vote is a fascinating debate, as is the education level within that vote. But I think I’d rather be in the company of the woman on the left.

Trump led among non-college-educated white men by 43 points, but trailed by 23 among college-educated white women.

Garin told TPM. “Usually at this stage in early, pre-election polls, the African American vote often lags anywhere up to 10 points of what it ends up being. In many states she is already performing at the kind of elevated level that President Obama received.”

The Great Minority Tsunami of 2016.
See? It does pay to always take the high road.
