How Trump Bungled His Reponse To Sexual Assault In The Military

He applied for that purple heart that he always wanted?

Asking Trump for a solution to any problem is a colossal waste of time.

He knows nothing, doesn’t care that he knows nothing, and won’t change his ways.

I’m just surprised he didn’t blame Obama/Clinton for this problem as well. It’s his go to strategy for any issue.

“For all of the morons who have been complaining about my comment on sexual assault & rape in the military, don’t you see that it was asked as a question, with a question mark at the end of the sentence!” Trump wrote. “In other words, it wasn’t made as a statement, but rather as a question. I wanted your views. Many of the generals and military officials were not in favor of the male/female mix. What do you think of that?”

And some people continue to insist that Trump is incurious.

“What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?”

It’s my impression that Trump makes no distinction between sex and sexual assault.

Exactly. Rape is not sex. It’s an assault and done for control or dominance over the victim.

Trump: “You have the report of rape and nobody gets prosecuted. There are no consequences.”

I agree completely with Trump!

There’s one guy whom three separate women, in three separate legal proceedings, accused under oath of sexual assaulting and/or raping them.

And nobody got prosecuted! There were no consequences!

Oh, please, please, please let Trump make unprosecuted sexual assault a major theme of the campaign.

Of course he did. Every one that watches Fox News knows there is no such thing as Sexual Assault in the Military…

Everything regarding Trump leads to rape.

The Drumpfster Fire bungled it simply by showing up and opening his Bronx pie-hole.

But Donnie is a good judge of women-flesh, so he has bigly yuge insight into the whole legitimate rape thingy.

Trump: Hang your heads in shame female soldiers, you’re the ones causing all these rapes and sexual assaults, by joining the military. If you gals just stayed out of the military, then women wouldn’t be getting sexually assaulted in the military. I mean isn’t it obvious?

Chiselin’ Trump: “I didn’t say that the solution to the problem was ‘the formation of a separate military justice system.’ I said that it was ‘the formation of a separate military.’ You know, one for women and one for men.”

How many times has he waited until there was blowback on one of his statements, and then claimed that the rest of the world misunderstood? For a guy who has the best words, he sure seems to have a hard time actually communicating his ideas.

If there is no such thing as a rhetorical question in Trump’s lexicon, that would explain a lot.

He bungled it when he gave his honest opinion, because he is a horrible human being and his opinions are equally horrible.

Among lawyers who represent victims of sexual harassment (I am one), it is commonly said that sexual harassment is not about sex, but about power. Sexual assault is different from harassment, but there are significant similarities.

Are you kidding? One of them costs money straight to the other participant and the other one involves going through lawyers.

Please view “The Invisible War,” a documentary about rape in the military. Shocking and dismaying, but I’ll let you make your own judgments.

Yup. He opened his maw and inserted his (no doubt) very expensive shoes. More like this; let him hang himself with his own words.
