In black and white.

Americans already pay more for health care than the rest of the world. Apparently, the reason is because Congress makes it that way.

How The Trump Admin Is Using Junk Health Plans To Undermine Obamacare

Another nail in Trump’s faux campaign promise to bring reasonable, affordable healthcare insurance to all Americans.

These plans were part of the original blowback to “You can keep your doctor” – many people had their crappy, misleading plans restricted by Obamacare, and blamed the law for the sin of protecting their well-being. Screw them, they can have them back. Nice work.

Democrats are doing an especially terrible job of hitting Trump for his BS “better cheaper, covers everyone” shtick. Health care coverage is declining and Dotard lies constantly. It’s an important issue and our leaders need to hammer the lies.

OMG! Who would ever have believed this???

No. Because we want their votes, no matter how misguided they were in the past.

We will be hearing from people soon about the much hyped TRUMPCARE plans. It will probably be a midterm issue.

Will these blood-sucking demons stop at nothing?

Yes.

This article is too polite.

Also: the junk plans effectively block people from signing up for real plans once they find out they’ve been scammed, because open enrollment for the exchanges will only keep getting shorter.

And because short-term policies are not required to disclose all of their exceptions and limits and caps, in some cases you don’t even know what you’re buying until after you pay your premiums.”

This is despicable.

Why is this still being called Obamacare? It’s not. The individual mandate was a key part of Obamacare and Obamacare was working. This is Trump/Mcconnell/Ryan Care. Or find a catchier name but this is not the system put in place by the ACA.

It always helps to know the companies (and their major investors) that are offering the non-insurance insurance.

Flim-flam man president. Phony baloney health insurance. Sketchy policy. Fake bugle.

I don’t think as many people are going to jump to junk insurance. People are more sophisticated about the value of health insurance than before. Still, this is a monkey wrench in the ACA market. Best thing to do is a PR campaign to highlight that this is essentially junk.

AHIP created a pdf for people who want a comparison. Most of the definitions for coverage: MAYBE

From clear message that people can understand to clear as mud courtesy of current HHS.

Some of these plans are nothing more than insurance companies nabbing a few hundred bucks from you each month for essentially nothing in return. When we start hearing horror stories from people who get handed a $100,000 bill despite their cries that they “have insurance” do we finally get to call something “Trumpcare”? If the ACA banned them and they dubbed it “Obamacare” I think it’s only fair that if the Trump admin. reinstates them we get to rename it back at them.

Finally, some use for the Trump University student health plan documentation.
