Discussion: How Breitbart Went From 'Trump's Personal Pravda' To Running His Campaign

How much longer until this buffoon hires James O’Keefe and Jesse Walters?

You know, the best Republican minds.

Breitbart is “Trump’s personal Pravda”?

I thought Pravda was Trump’s personal Pravda.

How Breitbart Went From ‘Trump’s Personal Pravda’ To Running His Campaign…

Because the “Weekly World News”, the “National Enquirer”, “The Star” and “The Globe” all have too much integrity and journalistic ethics.

What could possibly go wrong? Instead of “lock her up” it will be lynch her!

Trump will “jokingly” announce plans to erect gallows on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.,

Love, love, love that Trump’s campaign remains in turmoil. Cue up blaming it on the MSM - especially with this morning’s news of Manafort and Gates’ dealing with two Washington lobbying firms on behalf of Ukraine-Russian political interests. Shame on you New York Times -

Trump’s last bastion. Breitbart would roll in his grave: homosexuals and GOP candidates that “are not conservatives.” I don’t see any indication that these guys can “right” this ship with their looney liberal sway.

It’s not a campaign, it’s a Breitbart comment board gone viral.

Trump sidelining Paul Manafort, who injected the campaign with a dose of seasoned professionalism,

Is that what Manafort did? Really? REALLY? Really?

I’m just waiting for the eventual Breitbart photo’s showing the size of Drumpf US rallies (with the Sydney Opera House in the background).

The Trump camp was pressing him to change his strategy of flailing wildy at windmills. Trump doesn’t tolerate anyone challenging him. He surrounds himself with sycophants. That’s his management style. He needed to find a sycophant willing to run his campaign and this guy was the best he could find. Think about that. As president, this is the best he can hope for when it comes to selecting a chief of staff - a complete lunatic.

I’m not sure why folks are surprised by this. Trump thrives on yes men and perceives all criticism, deserved or not, as the product of bias. B’Bart’s sucking Trump off since the get go. To Trump that’s “fair” and wise and good. Hence this.

A Trump Presidency would produce;
Attorney General - Chris Christie
Head of Homeland Security - Rudy Gulliani
Secretary of the Interior - Sarah Palin
Surgeon General - Ben Carson
Ambassador to Russia - Paul Manafort
Ambassador to the UN - Carl Paladino
and many, many more wonderful appointments.

Good catch. “Had been expected to” would be more accurate, and maybe “attempted to.” But if the attempt was made, it fell flat.

And now, for the collective amusement of the TPM commentariat, a metaphorical depiction of the Trump campaign’s attempts to right itself…

There is, if not “logic,” at least consistency in this selection. Trump has said he does not want to pivot, he wants to be himself and he wants to run in the general as he did in the primaries. No professional campaign people can help him with that, so, hire the cheerleaders and do what he was going to do anyway.

It is simply mind boggling to me that he’s trailing so closely in the polls and actually winning some states. The “Anyone but Hillary” sentiment is (if you’ll pardon the expression) YUUUUUUGE across the country. Sigh
