Not a bad thought actually. What if everyone sent him a pen with their name on it asking that their pen be used to veto one of the GOPās repugnant, symbolic legislative miscarriages? How cool would it be to know that you provided the pen that Obama used to veto their attacks on abortion rights or an attempt to poison SS?
The DNC could sell you the pen etc. as part of their fundraising or whatever and then provide it to Obama along with all the others and he could pick them out of a box blindfolded.

My worry is that they will merge their insane bills with āmust passā legislation, like dealing with the debt ceiling. What will Obama and the Dems do in response?

Look what happened when they shut down the government that funds these āmust passā legislations.
Obama can do the same as he did before make it clear that republicans are holding Obamacare hostage.

What they left out of this story is that the National Review is against this idea because they want the employer mandate eliminated altogether.
The good news is that the Republicans wasted no time in showing us that now that they are in charge, deficits no longer matter, and neither do jobs, jobs, jobs.
