Not only the people, but a big chunk of USA, Inc., is pretty happy with the right leaning new reality of the Democratic Party. Stocks are soaring, anti-trust laws are still being ignored, and corporate share of GDP is steadily rising. American ingenuity is hanging on in spite of constant House opposition efforts.
The USA still teeters on Bush’s economic disaster plan. Democratic legislators will allow only slow economic decline, while Republicans guarantee the swift death of corporate America’s golden goose.
I keep hearing them talk about the fact that “Obama should be impeached”. I don’t think I’ve heard or read exactly what he would be impeached for — what, specifically, are the charges? And I’m not interested in the broad reason of “violating the Constitution”, I want specifics as to what he’s done that would fall under the Articles of Impeachment.
I think if the GOP had a solid case, they would have skipped over this baseless, useless and expensive process of suing the president and just impeached him. But with most things, the Republicans are more interested in theater, less in actual governing.
The Republicans WILL impeach Obama after the election. That is a done deal.
In other words, we don’t have the votes in the House or Senate, but we should go through with the charade anyway, because we have no plans to do anything productive anyway, so let’s have a circus. What a great way to cap 7 years of obstruction, disrespect and contempt for a twice-elected president than a show trial that wastes time and treasure. Bonus: maybe we can bang up some Democrats in the process and, oh, Hillary. Let’s dig up the last impeachment debacle.

Don’t GOPers “stand on principle” regardless of the polling? Have they not voted to repeal “Obamacare” 50+ times? Looks like an admission that the impeachment chatter has turned into poor political calculus rather than a principled action for high crimes & misdemeanors.
Are the slow witted Wingers NOT talking about impeachment …AGAIN? Awesome logic…we don’t actually have grounds and the proceedings will expose us as vindictive do nothings with an aversion to governing and inflicting on going harm on the country and our constituents but hey, we have nothing else going on so WTF…game on.

They won’t win control of the Senate, which they need to do to impeach President Obama. Just the fact that they keep bringing it up, is good for Democrats. I want the Republicans to keep discussing impeachment, suing Obama, and shutting down the government. Go ahead, make the day of every Liberal/Progressive/Democrat out there.
