I’d like to see Stacey Abrams run against Perdue in 2020 because among other things we need to populate the senate with more Democrats and too many candidates for prez right now. Only one can win, and I’d like to see this woman knock the stuffing out of him.

Well, this was unexpected, but is highly welcome. Digging into voting rights, and how states are blocking the rights of many (non-Republican) Americans from voting is very important…at its heart it forms the basis of why we have a nation (that whole representation thing). If the Democrats can show that the Republican/red states have been working to preferentially remove voters who vote against them, then it will be a huge mark in the 2020 election. And, it will lay the groundwork for a new Voting Rights Act, one the SC won’t be able to undercut and that will apply nationwide.
Truly, it is a very good thing Democrats have taken over the House…they are not abusing their positions, and they are digging into the important things Congress should always be examining about our system.
