I am really glad to see the comments section back. The new design really looks great. Thank Josh for continually pushing the site forward.

Dems need to invest in entertainment and social events that attract young potential voters, and when they get them to those venues, set them on course to the ballot booth.
Peer influence (OK, call it pressure if you choose) is the most powerful tool, it is the very essence of networking both in the virtual and real realms, and it is one of the few tools that crosses over graciously between the arcane and the modern media.
The Democratic Party needs to PARTY between now and November and use those social events to attract young voters. And not events filled with boring long-winded speeches, LIVE MUSIC events, with musicians, comedians and entertainers, they shouldn’t just spend their funds on stale print, radio and TV ads that only enrich the oldstream media moguls who are connected at the hip to the political machine.
Networking can be fun. It has never been more important to a political cause. The more fun it is the more young people are attracted.
