Discussion: Hong Kong Leader: We Can't Let Poor People Dominate Elections!

And it’s not true! We let poor people vote, and they never control elections. You just have to learn to bullshit people better.

Jon Stewart laughs at Adam Sandler.

So much for the People’s Republic…

That’s no lie.
You can’t just say this publicly.
I guess they’ve not yet learned that step one is to get the poors to vote against their best interests first!
Apparently they have no clue who Lee Atwater was.
Isn’t there some ethnic demographic they can vilify for gain?

I mean. Aren’t they usually really good at pirating our sh^t?

I’ll bet his REAL name is Koch!

What a disgusting thing to say. And this guy is their leader? The Chinese Communists should get rid of him because what he is saying challenges the tenets of their faith.

He also seems fond of Zack Galafinakis. Nobody’s perfect.

That’s right— the 47%'ers will just take over and just vote themselves more free stuff. The Mittster would be proud.

Here’s the difference between the U.S. and Hong Kong.

In the U.S., poor people HAVE the franchise!

But, in the U.S., because of wedge issues, GOP Talking Points, racism, sexism, xenophobia, and just plain Confederate nastiness, a sizable percentage of people of modest income willingly, cheerfully and, in fact obsessively (thanks FOX) roll out of the bingo parlors and NASCAR stadiums on their mobility scooters and pull the level for the Rich (e.g. the Republican backed 0.01%).

Without these wedge issues and a Message Machine unmatched in human communicative history (thanks again, FOX), there is no way that 0.01% of the population could outvote the rest of us without the willing complicity and support of Minnie Pearl and Billy Bob.

Is he related to the Republicans in the US?

The Republican and Teapublicans have a lot more in common with the Chinese Communist Party than people think. Marco Rubio and the Koch Brothers hate poor people and don’t want them voting or having anything to say about our nation.

Republicans + the Koch’s are Communists!

Vote Republican equals a vote for repression!

Too much up-front investment.

Here’s a simpler method. Ask the following questions:

  1. How often do you watch Fox News?
  2. Does Fox “speak” for you?

If the answer to #2 is anything other than “Fuck NO!” that person gets shunted to the “Too f’ing stupid to be allowed to vote” line.

I was considering also working a Darwinian test in there, but that might be messy, as well as expensive.

will the media and politicians please stop referring to China as a “communist” state - a more apt description would be “corporate controlled police state”

Who knew the Republican Party controlled elections in Hong Kong too?

Jon Stewart is in a bunch of Adam Sandler movies. They’re very good friends.

This guy would so fit in with the Republiclan party.
