Discussion for article #234404
Should we be paying him? Heâs lousy at his position.
How would he know? Did one of the rightâs militia do it? Or, did he just release secret information? Nothing is beneath these traitors.
Is this leak prosecutable or should he have emailed?
Iâm guessing he blabbed something he shouldnât have, national security briefings and whatnot. Consequences?
âRetaliationâ is not a synonym for ârevenge.â And, yes, idiot wingnut is blabbing shit he shouldnât be blabbing the way idiot wingnuts always seem to do as soon as they get elected by pretending to be all about national security and come into contact with classified information.
Like the time Orin Hatch blabbed about us listening in on Osamaâs phone calls. Or that time the Bush Administrationâs bragging about how they killed a âhigh value targetâ burned a source.
Way to go Repubiclans. Tripping over your own dicks in the realm of foreign affairs.
Is this another case of Republicans tipping our hand to our enemy?
What an ASS ⌠while there may have been various thoughts about this before, they were still a bit in the gray zone âŚ
now, his actions potentially come across to North Korea as:
-
- 'Yeah , we did it ⌠nah nah nah ⌠we shut you down⌠what are you going to do about it pudgy boy? â
And - psycho North Korea could potentially look at this public pronouncement / claim as an intentional humiliation - requiring some sort of violent & lethal retaliation by them in order to avoid complete embarrassment & totally âlosing faceâ
Over and over members of the GOP are demonstrating an insane level of irresponsibility.
His defense?
âAt least I didnât send a letter to the Ayatollah.â
Considering how unbalanced N. Korea isâŚadmissions like this are not a reasoned or smart move. We should juuuust be quite about such things.
These republicans on security committees always leak some shit to be the cool guy in the news. Happens so frequently it makes one wonder why we even have clearance levels and private committees.
Hey! With all the fuss goinâ on a fellow has to do what he can to get any attention.
When voters are faced with the question:
âWho do you trust to competently handle foreign relationsâ ⌠it would be insanity to say the GOP !
The GOP, (similar to their approach to domestic policy making) - seems to have adopted the totally idiotic stance that diplomacy, negotiation, collaboration, compromise - are all a signs of weakness - so total domination & submission to the GOPâs view is the only acceptable path.
Thatâs right admit something you know you shouldnât admit. Republicans canât be trusted with government.
This is why the GOP need to be taken away from microphones - they actually believe that this kind of talking increases their dick size. Bragging is not Statemanship - but they should already know that.
This story gets no attention but Hillaryâs email account will be covered for the next two years.
Now let me see if I have this right.
The United States Government undertook an illegal act-possibly using extra-governmental and potentially illegal âagencies,â in retaliation for an equally illegal act of cybernetic crime against the intellectual Property and the Corporate privacy of an International Corporation.
Mind you, not in reprisal for an attack upon a branch of American Government, or in retaliation against an active threat to the freedom and security of American Citizens- but an attack against a Corporation âmeritsâ retaliation by the âgovernmentâ of a Western Industrial Democracy.
The United States goes rouge to punish another rogue nation.
Check Please.
Iâve seen this McCaul on either Rachel or OâDonnell, which are the two MSNBC shows I watch, and he sounded reasonable in spite of having R after his name. But now that heâs had a mic clipped on to his tie and the earpiece stuck in heâs found he likes talking to the nearest audience. Heâs on the wrong committee (and most Rs are in way over their heads) if he canât keep a secret.
So Kim Jong Un couldnât watch his cat videos on YouTube? Whatâs the big deal?
