Very definitely not “Clothgate.” It’s much more important than that. It’s “GifilteGate”. How dare former Secretary Clinton solve Israel’s impending holiday Gifilte Fish shortage by communicating on her personal iphone with an American fish monger and an Israeli official. This is so much more important than CEO Fiorina organizing HP’s running of President Clinton’s blockade of Iran.
I don’t agree that that the wounds were all self-inflicted. She may have nicked her finger slightly with the server thing, but when the sharks smelled the blood, the feeding frenzy began.
MOVE ON to the issues HILLARY.
Most of the questions on Meet the Press were about the emails. Apparently the interview was quite long and Hillary answered all of Chuck’s questions. More of the interview will be aired on Chuck’s MSNBC show tomorrow. I have no idea why TPM chose this tiny sliver of the interview to report on.
Bullshit. It’s a perfectly legitimate question. If he didn’t ask hard questions, he wouldn’t be doing his job. Most cabinet secretaries (maybe we can go out on a limb and say “all other”) don’t face such questioning because they use the official e-mail - imagine that!
very well put. The whole email ‘scandal’ is much ado about very little
Hillary patiently answered all of Todd’s questions about the emails and other issues. More of the interview will air tomorrow on Chuck’s new MSNBC show. I found it interesting that the panel had very little to criticize Hillary on, except for one who said Hillary wasn’t ‘angry’ enough and that the electorate is ‘angry.’ Well, the Trump supporters and Tea Partiers are angry, but that isn’t the majority of the electorate.
So it’s partly political, then? Are you saying that Hillary should be sheltered from such forces?
Reflecting and biden our time.
It’s not that I don’t agree with you on this. The problem is that HRC knew or should have known how her actions would be perceived by the voters and the press. The email “scandal” has given them red meat to attack and keep repeating their favorite Clinton lines, like they can’t be trusted. She literally walked right into it and served it up on a platter. Her inability to put this behind her reinforced that belief with the voters. These are all self-inflicted wounds in that she created the issue that they are attacking her with.
I know why fox news beats this dead horse but why do the somewhat real news agencies keep whacking at it?
