Children need exposure to the natural world. Even in New York City downtown, they have parks for that purpose. These children are living in a desert from the looks of the photographs. Not a tree or a blade of grass is seen. These camps are the work of Pence and Sessions - they reveal it in their support of the programs. They will be in office for 2 more years, so that means 2 years of concentration camps for children. Surely after Trump is defeated in 2020, the new administration will reform this inhuman immigration policy. We can only hope.
