It is really important for the author to not pass off this faked image as information. The fact that Trump responds to it is not newsworthy; that he again responds to a faked image is barely newsworthy. Bluntly stating in the article that this is a fake is essential, even if the fakeness seems utterly obvious.

Most conservative “humor” falls flat because their “jokes” are simply insults, and conservative laugh at people being insulted more than mocking in a humorous way, especially if the target is someone with less power. I think “the deal” is that it’s obviously a poor Photoshop job that the President appears to be asking us to take as legitimate proof of voter fraud. It’s also worth noting that is is yet another in his long line of attacks on women of color.
