Discussion for article #233514
I’m hoping that any reporters who get a comment from Chris Christie about this remember to point out that Christie’s tax department held refunds improperly to reduce the deficit numbers leading in to the budget negotiations.
That’s not that really big of thing these days! Just take a look at Fox News, they’ve been spouting BS numbers for years and the right-wing loves it!
“…It’s a small percentage…”
Conservatives wouldn’t care if it was everybody.
They didn’t care about 350 million people when they destroyed the global economy and cost middle-class homeowners tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Enough about bureaucratic errors. I got a mea culpa from a corporation today.
Let’s move on to something more serious, like the conservative movement’s plan for handling mass drought.
Some people will get larger refunds than expected and some won’t. This is normal tax stuff with the exception of having a subsidy that us average Joe’s aren’t used to. The Corporation People are the experts in this field. We are rank beginners compared to the tax cheating and subsidy receiving of the Corporation Peeps.
The takeaway here is, that Obamacare is stepping way outside of the norm, the rotten-rotten norm, to help the middle class and this is a bit messy but much appreciated. The Republicans are undermining anything and everything that would help to simplify the law, like constantly working on gutting the IRS by underfunding.
Of course when half of our nation’s politicians and an entire Party are actively working against healthcare’s success and benefit from their manufactured failures, its going to struggle. Giving healthcare to the nation is a big dig, The Republicans are making it much worse.
Take away the mega-billions in subsidies to the unworthy Corporate giants and watch them claim to be struggling. And I seriously doubt that they have to have their taxes done at HR Block.
