Now we must join Trump, who will deport them. Smart move indeed.

Talk about your thankless tasks!
[The RNC will replace Guerra with Helen Aguirre Ferre, who has previously served as an adviser to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
“Is it going to be tough? Of course,” Ferre told the Wall Street Journal about her new position on Wednesday night. “But Hispanic voters see that these last eight years of President Obama hasn’t done them any favors. That’s part of the reason people are looking for real change and Donald Trump presents that real change.”]
The apellido “Aguirre” has a special importance for me. Gonzalo Aguirre Beltran wrote “La Poblacion Negra de Mexico”, which chronicled the presence of African ancestry in Mexico and provided people like Carlos Santana a tremendous linkage to the African Diaspora.
I guess you cannot win them all.
TRAIDORA
Whenever a colleague or acquaintance starts in about voting Republican, I simply point out I’m married to a Latina and have two kids together, and from my point of view, that would be like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders.
And yes, I stole that from James Carville.
This position is akin to the position of Outreach Director to Ethiopians under Mussolini. Indeed, much similarity.
That’s part of the reason people are looking for real
change and Donald Trump presents that real change."
Sorry, Ruth - But the Hispanic people that I know well, are not
" one step forward… two steps back " kind of folks —
A misma mierda como las mismas moscas, pero una dia differente … mas o menos.
He sued her? That’s awesome.
Actually, I’m not sure it was “integrity” as much as that she could no longer bear the scorn that likely 99.9% of Latino/Hispanic folks were leveling at her.
“Plus, she’s not that pretty anyway. Who would listen to her? She’s not very pretty.”
Added, You Know Who
“Is it going to be tough? Of course,” Ferre told the Wall Street Journal about her new position on Wednesday night.
After a slight pause she rolled her shoulders and admitted, “But I’ve been a whore before, so at least getting payed better now, and maybe, if I play my cards right, there’s a future roll as a Thump girl in my future. Dare I dream…perhaps even a future Trump wife?” I’m all tingly over that!
Fair enough. Sifting her soul is above my pay grade, certainly. But at least she walked away. We both know there’s a lot of Republicans who are swallowing their strong misgivings and publicly saying mealy-mouthed stuff about how Trump is “rough around the edges” but at least he’s not a vampire space cannibal like Hillary, the uniquely awfullest person who ever lived and so forth.
I wish her the very best. I am sure that Donny Tramp, Rinse Pubis and the RNC board are happy to see her go.
“Is it going to be tough? Of course,” Ferre told the Wall Street Journal about her new position on Wednesday night.
Yep. It will indeed be tough because of the guy your Party nominated. Not only that, but your Party also encouraged and enabled his rhetoric for the past 8 years. So yeah, it will be a hard sell. You built this.
"But Hispanic voters see that these last eight years of President Obama hasn’t done them any favors.
President Obama has not gone out and denigrated Hispanics. Said he was building walls. Accusing Mexicans of being murderers and rapists. Suggested a judge could not be fair due to his ethnicity. Insensitvely posted a photo of him pretending to eat a taco bowl and then proclaiming that he loved Hispanics. If that is the type of “favors” you think Hispanic voters are looking for, you have an even upper hill to climb than I first imagined.
That’s part of the reason people are looking for real change and Donald Trump presents that real change."
LULZ.
Oh yeah, he presents real change, alright.
Seems Ferre is delusional. A perfect new fit for the job.
Thanks to Spencersmom.
Good Lord…the woman has decided now to leave the RNC? All she’s doing is moving her ass to a SuperPAC devoted to electing Congressional Republicans…So what exactly is the difference? Please, let no one give this woman a moment’s thought that she’s done anything big or courageous by making this move. The Republican Party has failed, failed miserably at Hispanic outreach, autopsy and all…Add to that, the increased rhetoric from their chosen nominee for President, as no one in the party has really denounced the fucking wall Drumpf says he want to build, or the mass deportation of 11 million Mexican immigrants (as far back as a year ago), and you have the perfect storm of demographic demise for the GOP party…something that has been in the works unabated for years by the entire Republican party and their lackeys. From dog-whistle to bullhorn…this woman should have and could have seen this coming a long time ago…and yet, the surprising thing above all else, is that she remains a Republican. Kind of reminds me of those Log Cabin Republicans. Makes no fucking sense…unless cognitive dissonance is your default mode of thinking.
‘Donald Trump presents that real change’…HAHAHAHAHAHAHA…what ‘change’ is THAT? Back to the ‘white man rule’ with women and minorities walking 10 steps behind? THAT ‘change’?
And she has small breasts, You can’t be 10 if you’ve got small breasts.
Signed,You Know Who
I’m really surprised that Helen Ferre is filling the position. She hosts a local current affairs public TV show here in South Florida and IIRC used to write a column for a local Spanish-language newspaper.
Although she seemed somewhat conservative and at times a bit of a hack, I didn’t think she would become a political partisan. Although her father is former Miami mayor Maurice Ferre. On local issues she often appeared knowledgeable.
EDIT: Upon reading the linked article, it seems that her father-in-law is former Miami mayor Maurice Ferre. Apologies for the confusion.
Wow! She didn’t even bother with the standard, “I’m leaving to spend more time with my family” nonsense.
What say you, Reince? Go ahead, spin this away.
