āHatch apologized to those who were offended by his comments on Wednesday.ā
Hey TPM, can you post the āapologyā please.
How about that douche apologize for voting NO on S1982 - the Comprehensive Veterans Health and Benefits and Military Retirement Pay Restoration Act of 2014?
Another fauxpology. Iām sorry that the newspaper had the audacity to publish what i said!
Orrin, Orrin, Orrin, when you spout off crazy talk during the middle of a speech, you know the media will run with the crazy talk!
The apology is not worth the paper it was faxed out on.
Orrin Hatch is a perfect example of how entitled and corrupt a career politician can become. Once these politicians get a taste of the power and authority that comes with being a Senator they just canāt let go.
Harakal is right, one must experience the full indivisible Orrin gestalt to get āitā in all its itness.
cherry-pick a few comments out of context
ā¦of course the context had nothing to do with denying healthcare and control of their own bodies and reproductive systems to womenā¦nothing at all. Carry on.
While Orin Hatch, like all Republicans, is āsorryā; that was in no way an apology.
Poor Orrin. Clearly, heās the victim here.
Nice photo choice - Chuck Grassley sees something interesting.
Sounds like the Tribune did the right thing. And as for ruining someoneās holidayāIs that what Hatch thinks this is about?
Since the VA scandal broke, all of these politicians are suddenly being caught trying to balance the budget on the backs of veterans. They all suddenly love us and honor our service even though they were giving us the high hard one a couple months ago. Quit thanking us for our service and start living up to your end of the bargain, you fuckers.
Ha. These guys are all about the Constitution. Ya right, fair weather friend.
I think that he used the standard rwnj apology, to whit: āIām sorry if anyone was offended by the innocent remarks I made.ā
He did not apologize fro cutting the funds to VA did he?
After all these years in the big house you might be fooled into believing that this Senator uses his brain before engaging his mouth. Wrong!
donāt go away mad, just go away mr. hatch.
Politicians just canāt help themselves. Put a microphone in front of them and they believe they just received a fusion of intelligence. It is a disease especially associated with Senators;wit Senator Burr. Matt had the Senator NOT said anything political there would have been no criticism or need for an apology.
