Harry Reid was such a brilliant asshole for throwing this bomb into the 2012 presidential campaign. I still chuckle out loud when I think about it, though it certainly was a low blow. The GOP attempts way more low blows though so I’m not too upset about it.
Republicans have questioned whether Obama is a citizen or what religion he follows and Reid is asked by CNN if questioning whether Romney’s unreleased tax returns show he paid no taxes is considered McCarthyism?
Exactly. Romney could have easily put this to bed a looooong time ago.
The fact that he still hasn’t done so leads me to believe that Reid was right.
Harry looks badass in those sunglasses.
Nor should he.
Romney didn’t release his tax returns for one simple reason: he didn’t want people to know how little tax he paid on his millions of ill-gotten gains.
Well I heard Harry Reid has beaten and raped at least 10 of his female staffers. He can release every police report that has ever mentioned his name if he wants to clear this up.
As Romney issued two years of tax returns and had his accountant outline the prior 10 years with income and taxes paid prior to the election, most of the comments on this article are very uninformed. After showing he paid taxes (higher than Buffet’s rate), Harry never retracted.
And the news that Harry’s brother, arrested for DUI and assaulting an officer, may have been the one to beat down Harry, it seems more plausible than an exercise band.
He did show them, in September 2012.
He did show them, in September 2012, along with an outline of the prior 10 years, certified by his tax accountant.
So where is the apology?
Those papers were summaries from his lawyers, not actual tax returns.
But Barry’s “charitable contributions” to the Congressional Black Caucus are golden.
You are bad at analogies.
