Hannity is corpulent in body and mind.
âDoes that sound like breaking news to you? Because, it isnât, it shouldnât,â Hannity said Tuesday night.
That actually should describe the response to the news that Hannity has no ethical or professional standards. As he said in a different context > âWe know how he feels about [being ethical; he doesnât care,]â
Hannity - âYeah ⌠so? Trump is a wannabe tyrannical despot ⌠nobody knew that?â
You could dismiss him with contempt if he werenât listened to by millions of people. As it is, this is propaganda that undermines our way of life. Have to give CNN credit for making it clear this morning in an analysis piece by Stephen Collinson that not using the justice system against your political rivals is one bulwark of our peaceful transitions of power. His tribalist nonsense is a threat to that. Not sure what to do about it but hope his playing footsie with Trump brings about his downfall.
After we win the second civil war, letâs learn from history and make sure none of those traitor pricks get a damned statue.
And yet, when the IRS wouldnât give clearly political entities tax-exempt status, Obama was a despot after his enemies. IOKIYAT
Good. The next Democratic president should have Hannity investigated and prosecuted by the DoJ on, well, whatever they find. Does anyone really think thereâs no tax invasion, no insider trading, no campaign corruption, no conspiracy with hostile foreign governments to commit electoral fraud, in Hannityâs background?
If the GOP wants to make partisan-based investigation & prosecution regular order for the DoJ, then ⌠we know which side engages in criminal activity as standard operating procedure, and itâs not going to go well for Republicans, Fox News, Murdochâs media empire, James OâKeefeâs fraudulent âinvestigationsâ, conservative terrorists like the Klan and the Proud Boys, or the rest of the right-wing criminal syndicates and propaganda outlets.
Frankly, the GOP and itâs right-wing criminal & propaganda networks should be investigated and prosecuted for their multitude of crimes anyway - with or without partisan intent.
Am I the only one who doesnât give two flying shits what Sean Hannity thinks?
Itâs like sports talk radio for the Trump sycophants. It tells them what to think about sports or in this case politics They need to hear something that sounds informed.
Then they repeat it to their family and friends to make themselves sound smart. Basically itâs what sports talk radio is.
I believe Hannityâs head to neck to body ratio makes shrugging an impossible physical act.
To paraphrase Hannity, âDoes anyone think anything Hannity says sounds like breaking news to you- because it shouldnât.â
and smeared his two fellow cable networks, CNN and MSNBC, tut-tutting that they would have known about Trumpâs authoritarian instinct if theyâd just covered his rallies.
Funny, I must have been dreaming during the 2016 campaign, when CNN and MSNBC (and Fox) broadcast every Trump rally; even broadcast the empty Trump podium pre-rally for 45 minutes so Trump could get free advertising.
If I am dreaming, Katy Tur must be having nightmares about being escorted out of Trump rallies by the secret service for her protection.
I disagree. Heâs mentally anorexic.
If their side does it, whatever it is, itâs OK. Period. Stop.
In the Fox propaganda-sphere, Hannity is right. This isnât news, because this is how the fascists expect Trump to be using his DOJ, and they would be disappointed and angry if he was not.
They can also justify it by claiming that Obama and Clinton used their DOJs in the exact same way. This will be a lie, but again, that does matter in the right-wing bizarro world.
I can sympathize, but we should care what he thinks, as what he thinks is what millions of Americans that vote will also think. Itâs not about Hannity the man, itâs about Hannity as a conduit of fascists propaganda. We need to be aware of what is being pumped into the brains of Republicans so we can be ready to fight back.
The meme of âMainstream Media didnât cover the Trump ralliesâ is part of the larger propaganda message that the only reason Trump isnât more popular is because the MSM lies about him and refuses to show all the good things he does.
Of course, itâs a lie on multiple levels. But its targets are the same people that still believe Acosta assaulted a White House intern.
This is a wonderful analogy. Iâd also guess that thereâs a large crossover between sports talk radio listeners and dittoheads. (I also frequent some sports boards, and exactly as you describe, itâs fascinating to see these meatheads obviously repeating verbatim â or at least attempting to â what they heard from the yelly guy on the radio about their favorite sports team.)
I would like to see some flesh eating bacteria settle into Hannityâs face.
Itâs finishing with his brain at the moment.
