Discussion: Hannity, D'Souza On Indiana Backlash: Where's Outrage On Sharia Law? (VIDEO)

I fully remember the marches out in San Francisco at that time. Many of my gay friends marched. Many gay-related organizations were represented there. So, yes, you are correct.

(BTW, I like the ‘Log Cabinboys’ sticker … may I use it?). Thank you.

The outrage over this is literally the exact same thing as it would be for outrage over sharia law - it’s the same principle, it doesn’t change for religions they like better. They seem incapable of understanding this.

If sharia law ever came to America, Muslims will just be following a path conservatives already created for them.

Look, people, you have to choose one ancient moral code or another. There are no other options. So why don’t you jump on the team and come in for the big win?

So the calculation of the Republican Party is that xenophobic bigots outnumber the rest of the population.

I had to explain to one of my former neighbors–one who I grew up with as a good neighbor–what ‘teabagging’ meant and that I really didn’t think that that is what she meant when she told me she was a ‘teabagger.’ Again, she was a good neighbor and she very much respected my family (though not our political beliefs, per se) and I respected her as a person … so I didn’t say anything condescendingly or snarkily – like I might have otherwise done.

I ask you: Where else on television can you find discussions by two such shining intellectuals? Who needs Buckley and Vidal when you have this?

I found it amusing that they chose the name teabagger, then consulted a dictionary. Now if we use the name they chose, we are accused of being vulgar.

… like their broadcast license revoked.

Convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza still grifting the gullible.

Convicted felon Dinesh D’Souza. Can’t be posted too many times.

Not sure the idiots looked at a dictionary at all. If I remember correctly it was laughter and jeers from the left that clued them in.

I assume you mean Dubya and not the “Cantata”, Oedipus Tex by composer, P.D.Q. Bach [AKA Peter Schickele]

Mr. Hannity, why don’t you ask your good friend Shep Smith? I, for one, would like to know his response.

TPM–Why are you guys repeating Hannity’s dissembling non sequitur? I mean his non-argument really doesn’t bear repeating.

April Fools aside - are Hannity’s viewers really that stupid? Really? I don’t mean this rhetorically. Maybe it is like they’ve got so many people hooked on hate, like a drug, that they MUST throw this stuff out there on a daily basis to keep them from detoxing.

Are there enough stupid people out there to make the advertisers buy time slots during his show? Apparently so. What products are they selling?

I don’t have cable but I listened to Rush a few times (out of curiosity) and noticed the ads for “herbal baldness and virility cures” and used copiers. That gave me an idea of the demographic of hate-filled-idiots. But radio is a cheaper medium and listeners can have it on in the background, or in the car. I am a bit surprised that this can be pulled off on an ongoing basis on Television. Maybe I am naive…

I loved being lectured about the sanctity of marriage by a man who is an adulterer who left his wife for his girlfriend.
