For what, an enemies list?
Great move - as a sycophant serving an unstable boss.
Horrible move as chief diplomat to the UN serving the US.
We see you Nikki, just like when the we and the whole world saw you imitate frmr Sec. of State Colin Powell’s most infamous move before the UN.
Poser.
I bet a lot of folks will be glad to give their name to you, preferably on a wood plaque they shove up your ass.
“I’m not angry, I’m disappointed”
Haley had exceeded my (low) expectations for a while, but this is truly pathetic diplomacy.
I’m sure the votes are recorded officially. There’s no need for her or her staff to duplicate the work. Stop government waste!
Channeling Omarosa are we?
The only positive about Haley (and duh, the UN) keeping score is that this is the last resort of a substitute teacher in grade school. Soon a real administration will return from sabbatical.
Uhm, honey, the U.S. has been irrelevant for about 11 months now.
Hey Haley,
with a statement like that, you forgot to stamp your foot and bang your fist on the table.
You got the right boss if you want to be irrelevant at the table.
It’s going to get worse for ya.
The tweet adds, “So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American ppl (people), abt (about) where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us.”
I don’t recall Trump’s stupid move to be at the will of the American people (or even on the advice of most of his cabinet and aides). I think he did that one on his own.
She really doesn’t understand this diplomacy thing, does she?
You can take the girl out of South Carolina, but you can’t take the South Carolina out of the girl.
What are you going to do, Nikki, put the UN on double secret probation?
I was wondering what Haley would do to make up for saying that Trumpp’s accusers should be heard.
I would point out that Everything Trumpp Touches Dies, but Haley was already a soulless zombie devoid of any empathy.
o/t (but perhaps relevant in a performance artsy sort of way) Hilarious images of reporters’ facial expressions in response to one or another ridiculous, ludicrous, or just atrocious comments. Guessing there were diplomats, staff, and journalists who made similar facial expressions in response to Haley’s childish attempt to make a mafioso-esque threat.
"Quiet diplomacy is far more effective than public posturing." – Atal Bihari Vajpayee
You know, a normal diplomat would have said something along the lines of “We understand some of our allies may not feel the same way, but we need to do what we think is right, blah, blah, blah”. Everything the Trump administration does comes with a big complimentary side dish of bullying.
Haley … said “the U.S. will be taking names.”
“And we’re also gonna put them on notice.”
Indonesians have called for a boycott of U.S. products over the Jerusalem move, and I don’t think all of those trade agreements are set yet, so this could get snarky.
