Discussion: Haley: Divisive Rhetoric Like Trump’s Led To Charleston Church Shooting

Maybe so, but that’s sure a nice coat.

That’s right, Haley, there’s a price to this game your party has played over the last four decades, to mix my metaphors, and those chickens are coming home to roost. If you’re smart, you’ll get out. (I know you won’t.)

“The way he communicates that, I wish were different,” Haley said.

Yeah, it’s not the vile things he says, it’s how he says them that’s the problem, isn’t it, Haley? I mean, supporting a xenophobic, racist, sexist twat is just fine, as long as he expresses himself genteelly.

AAH = Accidental Attack of Honesty

Yes, Haley, Trump is the living avatar of raging Amurikkkan racist sedition.

I’M NOT A PIMP!

Despite their differences, Haley has said she will support Trump as her party’s nominee.

Proving herself to be the whore I always figured her to be.

I know she’s the governor of South Carolina, but come on, does she think Trump is going to take her words to heart?

And then she says she’ll vote for him. Where’s that moral compass? Where is the desire to do the right thing?

Oh my Nikki, just who are you planning to vote for in November?

Media Matters has been covering this phenomenon for years. Hillary has received millions more primary votes than Bernie or Trump but the narrative the press chooses to present is how hated she is.

It’s supremely confusing when a Republican like her says something so obviously profoundly true, isn’t it?

Yet, she still supports the flame-throwing Drumpf.

Because reasons.

How do these people keep functioning with that level of cognitive dissonance?

It’s kind of fun watching them babble nonsense about how they support him and are going to vote for him. They are just so fucked.

She’s also part of the R cohort who are either definitely not going to the convention or are noncommittal

Mr. Snyder [Rick, obviously] is one of at least nine Republican governors who are noncommittal or skipping the convention: Mr. Kasich, Brian Sandoval of Nevada, Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, Bruce Rauner of Illinois, Larry Hogan of Maryland, Nikki R. Haley of South Carolina, Matt Mead of Wyoming and Nathan Deal of Georgia.

@mmurdoch The glass half full part of me sometimes think they say this shit to bolster their R bonafides with the folks back home but when the time comes and the sanity kicks they won’t vote for him because deep down they know he’s a menace.

The GOP way, not waking up to a problem until it affects you personally. Empathy is not their strong suit.

NO SPINE, Haley. He has just humiliated you now. Get out of politics if you won’t punch back. Don’t tell me you are supporting what is not good for America. No trust for Republicans who support Trump in the future.

It’s kind of like the abused wife syndrome. She doesn’t think she can stand up for herself. Not inspiring or capable of leading at all. Finished.

Looks like Haley is going to be the GOP frontrunner in 2020 now that Rubio and Ryan have demonstrated that they are complete cowards who caved and kissed Trump’s *ss. Let’s see if she caves, too. Then the field will be open to Donald Duck. Conservatives really don’t seem to have any backbone or maybe they are just too corrupt?

That’s exactly the message Ryan put out today.

  • “I feel much more comfortable that he’s in the same page with us.”
  • Trump won his endorsement based on “an understanding of our mutually agreed upon principles.”

But - “It is my hope the campaign improves its tone as we go forward”

Trump called her weak, she responded by saying “please sir may I have another” then pledged her loyalty to him.

Welp, to me it’s because they suspend actual evidential reality and make shit up.

With all these “respectable” Republicans supporting him when he crashes and burns and takes the party down there won’t be anyone left on the GOP. Well besides McTurtle and Ms Bacman.

I can hear it now “wocka wocka wocka, pee yew” or whatever that sound was when pacman ate the pellets then died.
