You mess with the bull…

And whatever happened to Benghazi?

Maybe we could get Bill Frist to watch Bergdahl on TV and make a diagnosis.

Apparently Rep. Miller doesn’t think psychological trauma is as serious as physical trauma.

Perhaps he needs to be educated via personal experience.

He doesn’t have a brain, and assumes no one else does. Smug fucker.

Interesting that Jeff Miller has Jessica Lynch on his mind. I wonder what the republicans have in mind for Bergdahl?

Put those hypocritically meddlesome Congress critters in their place! Some actions of the government are just not their business!

Once again, these are show hearings, not intended to get down to any type of fact-finding. The first and easiest clue is how much the ReThugs have been posturing for the cameras, asking questions they have no intention of hearing the answer to because the first thing they do is interrupt those called to testify, especially Hagel. They really don’t want to hear the answer to their questions.

In other words…another waste of what could have been a semi-productive hearing, only to let it lapse into a big waste of time and pathetic gamesmanship by a party of political neophytes when it actually comes to the reality of war and its serious ramifications.

I can just hear them in their cloakroom saying, “boys, its all about the soundbite, now let’s go out there and try to get a good one”. Truly pathetic.

At times like this, I’m glad Hagel is a Republican. He must really be embarrassed for his party right now.

You should have stopped after the fifth word.

Nothing like watching Hagel insert foot into the empty body cavity of a programmed zombie. Would have enjoyed it more if he did it about 20 times more to these self imposed impotent, untrustworthy, crying, whining, wannabe’s. Even the chairman snuck in " when we went after Bin-laden". Must have had that wrote down on his hand from the day obama and the chosen few got him. Something bush and the reapers gave up on long before.

It turns out Bergdahl washed out of the Coast Guard for psychological problems before joining the Army.

Edit to add:
This references a file found on his laptop.

In a file dated a few days later, repetitions of the phrase “velcro or zipper/velcro or zipper/velcro or zipper,” cover nearly two pages.

The new face of compassionate conservatism; and, the belief that we are innocent until proven guilty.

If NeoCONs think being tortured is healthy – I propose they all get treatment.

And yet, for all the caterwalling, they can’t even get THAT much. I honestly don’t see where Miller thinks he’s going with this. I mean, what, is he trying to impugn Landstuhl by saying that Bergdahl is being protected somehow? That there’s some kind of conspiracy to keep him there to prevent “the truth” from getting out? It’s just stupid, ham handed and empty. As you said, show hearings, a total waster of time.

I wonder how top military brass is reacting to all this.

Remember that time 10 years ago when all those Republicans wore Band-Aids with purple hearts on them to make fun of John Kerry’s military service in the Vietnam War? I don’t know why I thought of that just now. Anyway, pro-military conservatives really are hilarious.

You’re not helping us with our conspiracy theories, Secretary Hagel. We must always assume that there is some sort of cover-up or subversion going on. Can’t you see that? There simply has to be a conspiracy. Why won’t you tell us what it is?
