Is anyone asking what to me is the key question:
Why was this sensitive, yet in many cases archival, information online? I can understand it being digitized but who needs online access to a security clearance file from the 90s? If someone is going to get fired it out to be whoever designed this system, not the people who inherited it. Or could it be the Congress was unwilling to fund a physically more secure system?
