It’s interesting how armed men who have admitted targeting federal employees with automatic weapons, and who on occasion threatened one of their own, are still in possession of all of their weaponry, while Mason has his guns confiscated.
I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that the guys who still have their weapons are white. Nope, nothing to do with it.
there might be an issue with his wife beating that exacerbated the gun issue? Although it is quite true, there are lots of abusers out there who get to keep their guns.
Some law enforcement agencies, especially at the shire level, are much more concerned about protecting the 2nd Amendment than protecting their citizens, though. You may be on to something.
In some counties and cities, protecting the 2nd Amendment trumps protecting abused women. There’s more than enough precedent to put domestic violence on the list of actions that will IMMEDIATELY get your guns taken away from you, but too often, the good ol’ boys protect the guns and not the victims, out of that profane fellowship of gunheads.
“there might be an issue with his wife beating that exacerbated the gun issue?”
Well of course, that would be sensible, and I’m not suggesting for one second he shouldn’t have his weapons taken away. The guy’s a ticking time bomb, IMHO.
What pisses me off is the gigantic gulf in the treatment of one group of people who have directly threatened federal employees with murderous intent, and of another guy who’s abused his spouse. Race and politics has everything to do with the unequal treatment before the law.
We’re all human. Some of us are just more enlightened than others, regardless of skin color.
We’ve had the white judge who had the penis pump and the one who sent children to prison because he got a cut and the one who gave a slap on the wrist to a teacher after he raped a student who later committed suicide.
Being an “ammo-sexual” is bi-partisan and color-blind and seems to be a growing cultural problem.
Remember when having a “mid-life crisis” just meant going to Vegas for a weekend or buying a bright-red corvette? Now it seems you must stockpile weapons and ammunition for the “coming apocalypse” the moment you have your first “performance issue”. Sad really.
Apparently, Judging and judgment are two different beasts?
Judges only need the law to guide them and never would insert their own personal agenda onto the peoples that they reign over. No way. Especially considering that all judges have an awesome example of fairhandedness from the Supreme judges of the land.
Just for a routine matter of business, can we get a look into those Supremes attics. Their pre-Supreme stuff could be awful scary.
