Discussion: Gun Group Plans To 'Hunt Down The Republicans' Who Opposed Texas Open Carry Bill

The dumb-fuck says: “What?!?!!? Not enough support for the Constitution?”
Well dumb-fuck, there are MORE than 2 amendments to the Constitution and they are sworn to uphold ALL of them, not just the 2 you know/care (incorrectly at that) about.

“Well, it’s time to hunt down the Republicans who don’t support the Constitution and the Republican Platform,” the group wrote on Facebook.

Get some crosshair stickers from Palin. That worked out so well in AZ.

Sadly, this whole open carry movement thing is going to lead to a horrific bloody mess that most people would call a “the inevitable bad ending,” but the surviving gun nuts and the media won’t even call it an ending. They’ll just shrug their shoulders, pick up where they left off and the bloody mess will become another new normal, just a thing that happens here in Wayne LaPierre’s America. Like Sandy Hook.

They will say the “inevitable bad ending” of which you speak is proof that they were right. Because if they hadn’t been armed they would be the dead ones. Even though they are the ones creating the problem.

Tyranny:
When a handful of armed assholes are unable to terrorize lawmakers into voting to allow the assholes to arm themselves with even more types of guns.

One more time: Where does the Constitution authorize open carry?

What amendment says you can open carry?

Hey! I live in San Francisco and I’m not okay that. Texas has an unwarranted superiority complex when it comes to their state and California and seems to think that the way Texas does things is the only and the way California is the definitely the wrong way. Don’t get me started

Hmmmm… you’d rather not have people here in CA that oppose open carry? I’ve never thought of the Texas complex as a ‘Superiority’ issue per se, more of a ‘Napoleon’.

I’ve been trying to figure out where the Constitution says anything about “open carry” being a right…

My good (Democratic) friend who lives outside of Dallas occasionally forwards email to me from her republican acquaintances. Trashing California and everything about it is what they do because they’re dim bulbs. So *Time to start sending these people to California." is just more of that. This state under Governor Brown has been on a roll, and the same cannot be said of Texas under Perry.

Duh. That is my point.

Fear and loathing in Tejas.

Paranoia runs deep
into your lives it will creep
starts when you’re always afraid
the man’ll come an’ take you away [/quote] Not CSNY - Buffalo Springfield (Richie Furay, Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Dewey Martin, Bruce Palmer, Jim Messina, Ken Koblun, and Jim Fielder)- “For what it’s worth”, released in 1967, written by Stephen Stills.

I saw them perform it live - first time performed - at the Hollywood Bowl when I was in high school. There was someone standing on the side of the stage wearing an old western 6-shooter w/holster that came into view with the lyrics “There’s a man with a gun over there…”

By failing to stand up to the NRA and lunatic groups like this, the GOP has created this nightmare. Enjoy it.

What shallow people,of all the causes they could be fighting for open carry is their choice.
Kind of sad, pathetic actually.

This is what happens when GOP continues to sell their evil souls to the NRA and these twisted gun freaks. Texas along with the rest of the redneck South,( ARMPIT OF THE GOP), deserve what they get.

In heavily armed states like TX people dive for cover if a truck backfires on the street. And they come up ready to shoot. We have the basic setup for a circular firing squad with innocent collateral victims. One hair trigger premature discharge, and it will be like dropping ping pong balls into a box of mouse traps.

I cant tell which side you are on but there are a lot of anti-carry who are military/ex-military. There are a lot of gunowners who haven’t served.

OK, 2 out of 4 ain’t bad.
I did have Stephen Stills in there as the author.
