So… It’s ok that he’s an amoral authoritarian bully with delusions of grandeur, as long as he doesn’t say or tweet anything inconvenient over the next two months.
Sorry Chuck - I don’t need any reminders from Trump to understand just how low the entire GOP has sunken. And I promise these memories WILL inform my vote this November.

I was going to end my comment here but started to do some counting… if you take Grassley literally, two months takes us to November 2nd but the election is November 6th. If Grassley does successfully muzzle Trump until the 2nd, the four-day blowout that follows would be truly memorable

Trump hasn’t controlled his mouth his entire life. He has the maturity of a two year old. A very over indulged and spoiled two year old. Sadly for this analogy I end up insulting two year olds everywhere. My bad. But we can rest easy knowing that trump won’t spend a micosecond considering Grassley’s advice. Likely there will be stupidity afoot by 10 AM in trump’s twitter feed tomorrow.
