I’m getting tingly! What’s next? Worry? Concern? “We might have to do something?”
Next , Lindsey will express “trepidation”.
Poor fella. He needs to stock up on smelling salts, what with all this worrying and deep concern.
God, I’m tired of this “it bothers me” crap when he won’t do anything about it.
It’s like that Monty Python’s policeman’s line “Stop! Or I shall be required to say “Stop!” again!”
Gosh thanks Lindsey…it bothers me too…lord.
Senator Graham, lost in dreamy thought about the prospect of doing the thing Mooch said Bannon does, snapped out of it long enough to say he was “bothered” by the president lying. He followed up that statement with the threat that it’s very possible he and a few other Senators would soon meet to discuss the idea that a formal statement of displeasure be issued and possibly even mailed to the White House; adding that he didn’t know if such extreme measures were necessary.
Oh you, Mr. Lindsey! Always with the fluttering and the vapours and the ever useful future unreal conditional tense for almost every l’il thing! Sakes alive and bless your heart, but wheresoever will you really be when, not IF, Donnie Two Scoops whacks Robert Mueller?
“bothers me a lot”
Continued Graham, “…but I’m not going to do anything about it and I’ll still vote party-line uber alles”
Trump himself
“We hear he is a whiz of a wiz
If ever a wiz there was”
“It bothers me a lot.” Such strong words from the brave Sir Lindsey. Now let’s see if he steps out of character and does something about beyond calling for the fainting couch and then falling right back in line behind Trump like the good little Republican toady that he is.
“IF dreamy Mr. Ashley Wilkes were to ask l’il 'ol me to the Planter’s Ball, well then I MIGHT be able to squeeze into Momma’s dress, IF Hattie can cinch me into that 'ol whalebone corset, but, tee hee, I just don’t ever imagine that could evah happen!”
This whole GOP Senators’ phony deliberative, ratiocination, over every possible form of Trumpian excess is getting old and worn out. Actually DOING SOMETHING to curb Daddy Hairbuck’s propensities would be nice.
A sternly worded letter!
“It bothers me a lot.”
In much the same way as he’d be bothered a lot if his soufflé fell.
I think that was Robin Williams:
Like that “Skinny Bill,” it bothered me a lot, but I supported it all the way.
Just one more day with the Groundhog Day Caucus.
