Kavanaugh is such an obvious liar. I mean, I thought it would be a mess, but this is just so far beyond. Can’t answer any questions at all. If someone asked if his name was “Brett”, he’d probably go into a 5-minute rant about how his wife never met and does not know anyone named Brett.

Senator Graham must have watched “Bananas” recently; “I object, your honor! This trial is a travesty. It’s a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.” Please. As so many others have pointed out, the “most unethical sham” I’ve ever seen was the refusal of Mitch McConnell and his party to even give Merrick Garland a hearing. Oh, by the way, this too is an election year (not Presidential, of course); how come the Kavanaugh hearings have been allowed to proceed, Mitch? I think I know the answer.

Only if two or three GOPers vote against him. Kav will be voted out of committee as there are 11 GOPers and 10 dems on it but the full senate is another matter. This is not a foregone conclusion that McConnell hopes it is.
