Nice home after nice home; nice school after nice school. Then one of the real estate agents bragged about the local churches. My friend’s wife said, “Yeah, but where are the synagogs? We’re Jewish.”

Another interpretation is that most of the world, the nations comprising the General Assembly, are united in their opposition to Israeli settlements and massively disproportionate military posture.

This is typical right wing militaristic, jingoistic, bs. “If you’re not with us, your against us.” And what’s anti-Semitic about denouncing ethnic cleansing and apartheid? Netanyahau and Likud can’t claim to be a democracy interested in pursuing peace while simultaneously pummeling and butchering women and children, evicting them from their land and herding them into ghettos. They can’t have it both ways and they shouldn’t be able to drag Israel and all Jewish people through the mud with them. The whole world can see it. The only ones in denial are these right wing a-holes and their supporters. But the sad fact is what the neo-cons and the 1% are really after are those gas deposits in Gaza and ultimately Iranian oil.

Opposing Israeli policy is not synonymous with hating Jews on the basis of their identity and faith – at least not in the real world. In the Bizarro World created by the Israel Lobby, any unwillingness to not only endorse, but enthusiastically promote, every genocidal action taken by Tel Aviv towards the Palestinians is tantamount to pulling the lever that released the Zyklon-B.

As someone noted above, S Carolina is not Jewish friendly territory…it’s almost as if Graham were being motivated by some outside influence. I wonder what it could be and if it has anything else to do with the undue influence in the media we see? I also wonder why every member of Congress and the Senate pretty much support Israel’s actions in Gaza completely while Gallup’s poll showed most Americans, with the exception of the GOP, deeply troubled by what’s occurred?
