Discussion: Graham Says He Doesn't Know Details Of GOP Health Care Bill, Doesn't Want To

At least this way the GOP will own this lock, stock, and barrels full of dead voters.

In a sane world, I’d unhesitatingly agree. Given the world we’re in, you can bet that the GOP will actively and loudly blame the dead on Obama and the Democrats. And you can be pretty confident that the Democrats will, yet again, be caught flat-footed and unprepared by the insanity of the Republican attack.

The old “Democrat in the headlights” syndrome?

I wonder if it would be crash to resurrect the Aids Quilt idea for those who died of lack of healthcare, not access but affordability.

GREAT idea.

A knavish speech sleeps in a foolish ear.

If completed, it would definitely cover a couple of red states. Fitting, I guess…

We’ll need a much biglier quilt.

They would rather not smell their own poop.

Graham is not a leader but Tim Scott (appointed by Nikki Haley to fill the Jim DeMint seat) is even worse. We were better off here in SC back in the Strom Thurmond and Ernest Hollings days. Pretty sad.

So now the congressmen who whined and bleated incessantly about the “secrecy” of the ACA that spent 14 months in the spotlight are proud to say they don’t have any interest in seeing what’s in the AHCA bill before he absolutely guarantees a vote in support. I’m old enough to remember when there was absolutely NO WAY that republicans in the senate would pass this bill.

Now would be good time for someone to call me a pantswetter for worrying that 23 million people are about to lose their insurance or that the same senators will fall in line behind DT and overlook more and more crimes.

See any Graham response to any idea by a democrat.

It repeals what that black man did, and that’s good enough for him.

That’s a truly interesting theory.

Have you considered the security aspect of such an arrangement?

Does the other SC Senator Scott hold the door for Graham and hand him his top hat and coat? I have yet to hear of ANYTHING Scott has said/done. He must have some GOP purpose.

After 6+ years of whining and sniveling and feigning OUTRAGE that a year was not long enough to read the fking bill they now don’t ‘care’…as long as it’s theirs. Hypocritical frauds. Every single one.

McConnell is doing everything in his power to keep the GOP plan details hidden because he wants to be able to reward his wealthy benefactors, and fears if details leak there will be an outpouring of disgust by
the millions of people who do not want the Affordable Care Act decimated/destroyed.McConnell is among the most venal men in politics.

Security from what? Marauding southern seditionists? We’d build a wall. And make them pay for it.

Aside from the fact that the House did just that when they sent the bill to the Senate…

Don’t be sorry. Useful to avoid flushing threads, amusing every time. Charming, even.

That said, there should be a post flagged icon so we never need worry about multiple flagging. Your sock-flag pix would still be welcome, of course.
